Quite the fashion palette! Jennifer Garner stands out in fuchsia frock alongside pretty-in-pastel Rachel Zoe at The Pink Party

Jennifer Garner and Rachel Zoe captured the spotlight at this female-dominated event with their colour-coordinated dresses.

The 42-year-old Birdman star picked a more vibrant shade to wear too as she arrived to co-host The Pink Party in Santa Monica, California on Saturday.

Jennifer's dress was fuchsia and tailored to flatter her figure from its fitted bodice to the angled flare waistline and straight, knee-length skirt.

Very high heels with delicate black straps around the ankles accentuated her toned calves, while a shiny clutch lent some metallic appeal.

Jennifer wore her dark brown hair straight and sleekly arranged over one shoulder.

The annual gala benefitting the Women’s Cancer Program (WCP) at the Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute, was a monumental success. Hosted by Jennifer Garner and Rachel Zoe at HANGAR 8 in Santa Monica, raised over $1.8 million for WCP. Since the launch of The Pink Party 10 years ago, the annual gala has changed the face of cancer by raising over $11.5 million for the program.

Rachel was elegantly attired in a light pink ruffled creation with halter straps that showed off her slender yet toned arms.

Her long blonde hair was wavy and luxurious as it fell over one brown shoulder.

The mother-of-two brought along her husband Rodger Berman, who matched her look in a silky dark suit, tie and crisp white shirt.

Los Angeles boutique owner and stylist Elyse Walker started The Pink Party in honour of her mother, Barbara Feder, who was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer when she was 40 and never lived to benefit from all the new therapies and early detection testing that have since evolved.

The Pink Party, which benefits the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program, is 'a celebration of women, fashion, friendship and life,' according to its website.

Designers including Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Valentino, J. Mendel, Barbara Bui and Chloé have done their part in the fashion show.

This year's 10th anniversary event, which took place at Hangar 8, brought out some charitable-  and beautifully dressed - ladies and lads.

Lisa Rinna and husband Harry Hamlin both were thinking pink too, with Lisa choosing a fuchsia pantsuit and Harry dressing up his dark suit with a pink shirt.

Model-actress Molly Sims went with a 1970s-style formal frock made from a textured mauve material, featuring a peek-a-boo decollétage and billowy long sleeves.

Former Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross looked modern in a black blazer with sheer and opaque details, and a long, split black skirt over black leggings.

Brenda Song deviated from the norm in a flaring raspberry-hued skirt and black and white plaid blouse with thread-like lines of pink running through it.

Shay Mitchell brought out her inner vamp in high waist black trousers and a plunging navy camisole teamed with a black blazer, which she later doffed.
