Ashley James poses in her lingerie to share empowering message about body confidence
She's a keen purveyor of body confidence messages on her well-followed Instagram account.
Which is why Ashley James was using the platform to prove that there is no such thing as a 'disgusting' body, only 'unflattering' angles on Monday.
The former Made In Chelsea star posted a side-by-side comparison of lingerie selfies taken seconds apart; one that complemented her and another that she admits did no favours for her figure.

Important message: Ashley James shared a lingerie photo post on Monday, as she tried to promote a body positive message by comparing a flattering and unflattering photo taken seconds apart
She wrote: 'We can all feel beautiful or ugly in photos depending on the right angles and lights, and these photos [were] taken 2 seconds apart.'
Ashley had taken the snapshot in two poses, dressed only in her Pandora collection black bra and knickers, by Freya lingerie, while perfectly made up from a day of London Fashion Week events.
Explaining the motivation for her photo post, Ashley wrote: 'The other day one of my friends (who is gorgeous by the way) showed me a photo.
Body beautiful: Ashley has previously admitted that her body confidence has given her panic attacks before celebrity events
Being brave: Taking each day to overcome her body dysmorphia, the blonde bombshell was a guest at Monday's Aspinal Of London LFW party
'She had taken [it] of herself in an unflattering light in an unflattering pose to remind herself how disgusting she was at the moment.'
Ashley concluded: 'Why do we all do this to ourselves? We wouldn't be friends with someone if they made us feel like this, but we still do it to ourselves.'
It's not the first time the model and DJ has used her notoriety to send a message about 'self-love'.
Last March, she was brave enough to publicly admit that she suffers from body dysmorphia, a condition defined by the anxiety caused by a distorted image of one's self.

Bouncing back: The former reality TV star is best at promoting self-love
Speaking to MailOnline later that year, she confessed that it could have been linked to a recent break-up with TV personality Matt Richardson.
She said: 'It was breakup that knocked my confidence. I put everything into a relationship, moved in with someone for the first time and that didn't work.
'I'm a perfectionist and when that didn't work it had a big effect on me and because it was in the public eye it was a difficult change for me.
She continued: 'We're friends now so it's fine. It was my first difficult breakup where it was in the public eye and it was a difficult time in my life. The stress it caused with my acne and body confidence.'
Big week: It's been a big week, who attended Monday's presentation with such stars as Ella Eyre

Body confidence issues also led her to panic attacks before celebrity parties, she confessed: 'Even up till a few years ago I've had panic attacks before events because I really struggled with body dysmorphia.
'So body confidence was something I had in a cock sure way as a teenager then I lost it because there's so much pressure on women. Girls are harsh, so everything I do now is to not tear women down.'
Ashley put the issues to one side on Monday to accept another of this week's most sought after London Fashion Week invites.
The reality TV star was a special guest at Aspinal Of London's LFW presentation to introduce the Spring 2017 collections.
