Sean Kingston suffers beating during alleged altercation with trio Migos in Las Vegas that included gunfire

Sean Kingston was badly beaten Tuesday afternoon in Las Vegas.

The 27-year-old rapper was involved in an altercation at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, according to an article by TMZ.

The Jamaican-American rapper and the three members of hip hop group Migos got into an argument over Soulja Boy, according to law enforcement sources.

Kingston was allegedly kicked and stomped on his head during the fight.

Police told TMZ that someone from Kingston's group pulled out a gun and fired it once, but nobody was struck.

The alleged gunman was detained by security and taken into custody by officers from the Las Vegas Police Department.

Kingston and Migos had left by the time police arrived.

Police pulled over Kingston a short time later for a traffic stop and he was 'semi-cooperative', but did not name any suspects.

TMZ reported that authorities wanted to speak with Migos, but the group members were not 'wanted' by police.

Migos was formed in 2009 out of Lawrenceville, Georgia with members Quavo [born Quavious Keyate Marshal], Takeoff [real name Kirshnik Khari Ball], and Offset [born Kiari Kendrell Cephus].

Migos made their debut Monday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and performed their hit single Bad & Boujee on the chat show.

Kingston scored his first hit in 2007 with the single Beautiful Girls that reached the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. 

He also has collaborated previously with Justin Bieber and has been working on his fourth studio album.
