They live on opposite sides of the US, with one modelling in New York City while the other enjoys a career as a cinematographer in Los Angeles.

But Ashley Graham and her husband Justin Ervin stepped out united in Italy on Thursday, when they attended Max Mara's fall/winter 2017 presentation at Milan Fashion Week.

The 29-year-old curvaceous beauty, who has enjoyed a successful career as a plus-sized model, looked sensational in a plunging, figure-hugging ivory dress, which boasted a metallic gold neckline.

Ashley Graham looked chic in an all-white ensemble as she stepped out to the Max Mara autumn/winter '17 show in Milan.

She teamed her flattering crisp, sleeveless number with a smart matching overcoat, while strappy cream heels added extra height to her frame.

Her raven tresses were swept back, while a natural palette of makeup and sparkling hoop earrings added the finishing touches to her polished look.

The 29-year-old arrived at the hot ticket event on the arm of her handsome husband of almost seven years, who looked dapper in a fitted grey suit with a black top.

Ashley and cinematographer Justin met at church in 2009 and tied the knot the following year.

And the model recently revealed that she waited until her wedding night to have sex with her beau - and she advises other women to wait before getting intimate.

She told Elle Canada magazine: 'My husband and I waited; call me crazy, but it worked. Our sex is amazing!'

'It made me feel like I had the power back in my dating life. He respected me more because I wasn't willing to just give it up.'

'I tell my friends to wait three months. Just see if he can wait. If he can, he's a good guy. And, again, it's not for everybody, but for me it was great. It's something I'm actually really proud of.'

The couple, who wed when Ashley was 22, regularly meet up on America's east and west coasts, in between pursuing their careers.
