Janet Street-Porter surprised Loose Women viewers when she called co-star Stacey Solomon a sl*t on Thursday's show.

The journalist, 70, used the insult after revealing Stacey, 27, was still wearing her make-up from the previous night's BRIT Awards.

Stacey was late to take her seat on the panel, rushing on in a pair of slippers and boyfriend Joe Swash's jacket.

The bubbly mother-of-two said: 'I stayed in a hotel so I was closer to the studios so I wasn’t late.

'I'd walked with this backpack, filled with all my clothes, down the red carpet like a geek, but then I took it off and no one could find it.

'I thought "I'll get it tomorrow", but it wasn't there!'

She continued: 'He (Joe) gave me his jacket and kicked me out of the car!

'I couldn't wear my top because it smelt of B.O.!

Janet Street-Porter might have called Stacey Solomon out for wearing last night's make-up, but we've all done it. And at least she wasn't still wearing the same clothes!

The Loose Women panellist couldn't resist flaunting her enviably long, lean legs in a pair of ultra tiny shorts which she teamed with a chic lace blouse.

The monochrome ensemble served to accentuate Stacey's jaw-dropping figure, with her shorts placing focus on her bronzed pins.

The former X Factor star added to the look with a pair of towering open-toe heels which helped her work her angles.

Stacey's white lace blouse, which boasted a black lining down the middle, added to the sartorial look.

Her shoulder-length locks were styled in effortless waves, framing her features which consisted of heavily smoked out peepers and bronzed cheekbones.

Joining Stacey was her beau Joe, who looked incredibly dapper in a velvet, maroon-coloured suit and spectacles.

The multi-talented sensation recently told Star magazine: 'You worry about, "If the father of my next child lives with me, do the other kids then feel bad about being left out?" It's a difficult dynamic.

'A lot of people make you feel bad about having different children to different people. It doesn't seem that bad, but it's hard for people to digest and they think it's unfair on the kids.'

'We talk about it. But briefly. Joe's got his boy and I've got mine. The boys love Joe. It's just doing what's right for the children rather than what we selfishly want.'

Stacey already raises Leighton, four, and Zachary, eight, with two different fathers and is wary of having a third child with a third man.

She confessed to feeling an 'overwhelming sense of guilt' and confessed that she has read several studies about the social and emotional impact of broken homes on young children.
