'You look like a goddess': John Legend raves about his wife Chrissy Teigen as she stuns at the Oscars in high-slit gown (and manages to hide a nasty burn on her leg)

Chrissy Teigen stunned in a white Zuhair Murad floor-length gown with a sky-high slit that put her famous pins on display at the 89th Academy Awards.

The 31-year-old model was joined by her dashing husband of over three years John Legend, who was dashing as always, dressed in Gucci.

'You look like a goddess,' John told his wife during an interview on E! with Ryan Seacrest.

Despite a minor injury - she documented the concealing of a burn on her leg on Snapchat - Teigen stunned in the bejeweled number on Sunday's red carpet at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

She documented as milk of magnesia was applied to the burn, that was placed in an unfortunate spot.

She also gave followers a behind-the-scenes look at her award show preparation.

The cookbook author took fans throughout the processes of hair and makeup and even a look at John's preparation, which included guzzling water and dancing around.
