Living the high life! Jeremy Kyle 'jets home from Barbados in first class... but leaves new girlfriend and his children's former nanny Vicky Burton in cheaper seat'

They were recently seen enjoying some winter sunshine in Barbados, after making their relationship known last month.

But things may not have been quite as romantic for Jeremy Kyle and Vicky Burton on their flight home to the UK - as the pair reportedly sat in different classes on the plane.

According to The Sun, the presenter, 51, was seen heading into first class on their British Airways jet - while his girlfriend, who is the former nanny to his two children with ex-wife Carla Germaine, remained in her cheaper seat.

Jeremy, who had spent a few weeks with his new partner on the luxurious Caribbean island, was reportedly spotted by a fellow passenger chatting to Vicky in her standard seat prior to take-off.

However as the plane prepared for the long-haul journey home, the ITV favourite then allegedly took his own seat up in first class - leaving Vicky behind.

A source told the paper: 'He got her settled into her seat and then he went to first class and she stayed there. She was on her own for the whole flight.'

Adding that Jeremy had indulged in the luxuries of his cabin for the duration of the journey, the source went on to claim: 'He didn't go back to see her for the eight hours that's why I noticed it.

'It was definitely them - it was really odd.' 

MailOnline has contacted representatives of Jeremy for comment. 

It was only last month that the pair went public with their romance - having got together with his family's former nanny following his split from ex-wife Carla. 

On Monday afternoon, a visibly reluctant Jeremy was forced to comment on his developing romance with the blonde for the first time in public.

Addressing the panel, he said: 'It's a new relationship, a new chapter. I'm very happy thank you very much, let's move on with our lives.'  

His appearance came just hours after his relationship with Burton was referenced by Piers Morgan during a live interview on Good Morning Britain. 

Referencing the presenter's notorious daytime show, Morgan inquired: 'I have to ask, it would be rude not to. You obviously do a show about dysfunctional private lives, and all I'm reading about at the moment is your dysfunctional private life.'

'Everything's great – loving it,' replied an expressionless Kyle. 'You have to take everything with a pinch of salt, but listen – moving on, new chapter, thank you very much.'

Undeterred by his hasty response, Morgan, also 51, asked if they were an item – and if the presenter was happy with his new girlfriend following his acrimonious separation from Carla, whose alleged affair with a younger man was exposed in 2015.

'Yep. Absolutely, things are great,' he replied. 'I am happy. I am happy and you know, I've been through quite a bit, everybody's been through quite a bit and you get on with your life, that's the way it goes isn't it?'

Kyle's former wife recently claimed that Burton deliberately copied her style and looks before beginning a relationship with the TV host.

Carla said to friends that she gradually 'morphed' into looking like her during nine years serving her family.

Kyle began dating his children's nanny, who is 16 years his junior, more than a year after he split up with his wife of 13 years.

Carla believes Vicky - who considered a close companion - copied her hair-style and clothes.

A friend told The Sun On Sunday's Laura Armstrong:  'Carla realises now how during their friendship Vicky gradually morphed into looking like her, copying her clothes and style.'

The former model noticed the changes in her former nanny's look when she was throwing out pictures of her.

Her friend said Vicky's brown hair was lightened to become more like her own, and that she had begun to wear skinny jeans and halter-neck tops, just like those she liked.

Kyle has been with Vicky - who stopped serving the family last April - for three months.  However, their relationship was only made public last month.

Carla told a friend she considered the relationship a betrayal, as she had seen her nanny as 'a sister'.

Kyle, who has been hosting the Jeremy Kyle chat show for 13 seasons on ITV since 2005, announced that he and wife were splitting in 2015.

News of their break-up came after Kyle made a frank admission about the couple's sex life during his self-titled show in June 2015, while interrogating a woman about whether she'd cheated on her partner.

The presenter and his wife 'grew apart' and it was reported that Carla was caught having an affair with England polo player James Carr, 25.

Kyle, who has been married twice, was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2012 and publicly spoke about his troubles with gambling.

He has four children, including a 26-year-old daughter from a previous marriage and three with Carla

His first marriage to Kirsty Rowley ended in 1990 after a year together and the pair have a daughter called Harriet.
