Lady Gaga really is the go-to performer of 2017.

The singer and songwriter will replace Beyonce as the headlining act at both weekends of the Coachella music festival in California in April, Gaga confirmed on Tuesday.

Beyonce had to withdraw on doctor's advice as she prepares to welcome twins with husband Jay Z.

Gaga, who won accolades for her stunning Super Bowl 51 halftime show on February 5, has seen her music sales skyrocket lately and is currently preparing to kick off a world tour August 1 in support of her album Joanne.

She will take the stage on Saturday April 15 and Saturday April 22 at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio.

Coachella attendees will get the full Gaga treatment. 

THR,com, citing Billboard, says officials at AEG Live and Goldenvoice are currently working on how to bring her huge stage production to the desert venue.

Five days ago, festival organizers confirmed that the Formation singer would not be able to keep her commitment to performing  based on advice from her doctor.

Beyonce has said she will perform at Coachella next year.

Insiders told Billboard that Coachella organizers insisted that another female performer had to replace Beyonce.

Gaga will now be the first woman to headline the festival since Bjork in 2007. 

Also set to play the festival are Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lorde and Justice.
