Priyanka Chopra, 34, looked radiant from head to toe at Sunday's Oscars and while a glam squad and good genes certainly contributed to the overall effect, the secret to her gorgeous glow is more accessible than you might think.

The Quantico star has revealed to vogue.com that she loves mixing up DIY scrubs and treatments with recipes passed down from her mother and grandmother.

'Women in India [tend to] use natural products. It really does work for me,' she told the site.

One of her go-to recipes is her Ubtan Body Scrub, a treatment that exfoliates and hydrates.

The scrub is comprised of gram flour (one cup), lemon juice, greek yogurt and pinches of sandalwood and tumeric powders.

After testing it on your hand first to ensure that you're not allergic to any of the ingredients, Priyanka recommends applying it all over the body, letting it sit for 30 minutes and then scrubbing it off with water in the shower.

If you don't have all of the ingredients listed above handy in your kitchen cabinet, however, the actress has simpler DIY concoctions in her arsenal to offer.

Last year in an interview about her beauty regimen in The New York Times, Priyanka said that she'll whip up a mask with yogurt and tumeric powder when traveling.

'This is like an Indian trick. The turmeric is a healer for your skin,' she said.

The actress isn't the only fan of the multi-purpose spice. London-based naturopathic doctor Nigma Talib recently told wellandgood.com that she has clients like Kate Bosworth and Sienna Miller make tumeric ice cubes ahead of red carpet events and apply them on skin to reduce redness and puffiness.

With so many benefits, it might be tempting to rub the ingredient all over your face, but Daisy Ridley would caution you not to overdo it. The Star Wars actress learned the hard way last year that a tumeric-packed face mask can turn skin an unsightly shade of yellow.
