The self-dubbed 'King of Instagram' is receiving backlash online for his most recent post.

Dan Bilzerian, who is known for posing in photos with scantily-clad women and huge guns, posted a picture on Tuesday of himself next to a woman in a bikini who is sitting on a 100-year-old Galapagos giant tortoise at Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island.

The species of tortoise is protected and listed as 'vulnerable' by the World Wildlife Fund, and the private island is involved in wildlife conservation efforts.

Dan Bilzerian received backlash online after posting a picture on Tuesday of himself next to a woman in a bikini who is sitting on a 100-year-old Galapagos giant tortoise at Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island

He also posted other photos from the trip, including a photo of himself and the woman who sat on the turtle standing on a beach in the Caribbean

Others got more vulgar on Twitter, with one user saying: 'and the best way to show one's appreciation for the animal is to stick a s***k on it, stay classy'

Branson did not respond to Page Six for comment.

The Florida native also jokingly announced his bid for President of the United States in June of 2015, before dropping out and endorsing Donald Trump.
