'I was still feeling some joy': Amy Schumer reveals upcoming Netflix stand-up taped before US election

Amy Schumer revealed during a chat show appearance Wednesday that she taped her latest stand-up special before the US presidential election. 

'It's kind of good. I was still feeling some joy and had this thing ''hope'' in my body,' she said on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

The 35-year-old comedienne said her Netflix stand-up show Amy Schumer: The Leather Special was taped in Denver.

'Every comic I love wore leather and later regretted it,' Amy told Seth.

Seth, 43, asked if her leather outfit was squeaky. 

'No. I have a complete thigh gap,' Amy said in a self-deprecating quip.

The Trainwreck star wore a long-sleeved black blouse and matching trousers for her appearance on the NBC chat show.

She accessorized with a white string bow around her neck and asked Seth to be on 'bow watch' since she tied it herself.

Amy also talked about her group of gal pals who she's been friends with since middle school and high school in Long Island.

Seth showed photos of Amy on vacation with her friends in the Bahamas.

Amy said that since she's 'like rich now' her friends expect paid vacations from her.

'If I don't take them twice a year, they're like ''You've changed'',' Amy said.

Amy also shared that she's going to be on Family Feud with her kin.

'My family lives for Family Feud,' she said.

She said her family unlike others do not say 'Good answer' no matter what the response.

'My brother had an answer and we were kind of ''What's your problem?'',' Amy said.

She and her family wore team jackets with stitching on the back reading Let's Play The Feud.

'Best day of my life,' Amy said.

Amy Schumer: The Leather Special will be available Tuesday, March 7, on Netflix.
