A woman who once sued financier sex offender Jeffrey Epstein for forcing her into sex acts when she was 16 has been charged with breaking into a Victoria's Secret and stealing bras.
Maximillia Cordero, 33, was arrested after allegedly breaking into the Victoria's Secret on 86th Street in Manhattan Monday around 11.30pm, reports the New York Daily News. She was charged with grand larceny and burglary.
A passing police officer noticed the revolving door to the store was damaged and found Cordero inside, stealing $1,000 worth of push-bras, G-strings, and makeup, according to the outlet.
Cordero was allegedly intoxicated. She was reportedly dressed in tattered clothing and a black coat.
She was checked into a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. She has a long-history of mental health problems.
Registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein (left) was sued by aspiring model Maximillia Cordero (right) who said he pressured her into 'unnatural' sex acts when she was just a teen by promising to help her model for Victoria's Secret. She has been arrested for breaking into a store in Manhattan and stealing $1,000 of goods
In 2007, the aspiring model filed suit against Epstein, who served 13 months in prison for soliciting an underage prostitute, claiming that he had pressured her into oral sex and other 'bizarre and unnatural sex acts' when she was a teen and trying to be a model. She said that Epstein promised to help her model for Victoria's Secret, in exchange for sex acts.
The suit was dismissed in 2008, because Cordero was found not to be 'insane' at the time of the alleged forced sexual relations, reports the Observer.
Cordero didn't file suit until seven years after the alleged incidents, after the statute of limitations had expired, and two years after Epstein was accused of several instances of soliciting sex from underage girls, said the outlet.

Police sources told the Daily News that in 2009, Cordero pulled a knife on an ex-boyfriend in 2009, and was charged with assault.
In 2014, she was arrested for burglary after stealing two bottles of perfume from a Columbus Circle Sephora and was sentenced to seven months in prison.
'She’s mentally unwell and on medication for her psychosis,' her lawyer at the time, William Unroch, told the New York Post in 2007.
On Friday, the Miami Herald reported that although feds had a sweeping indictment to charge Epstein with underage sex trafficking, but the US attorney office's lead, Alex Acosta, decided to stick with state charges after negotiating with Epstein's defense team.
If Epstein had been convicted of the charges in the indictment, he could have spent the rest of his life behind bars.
