As Adele belted out her biggest hits, one lucky fan managed to capture the perfect selfie only hours after receiving free tickets to the Brisbane concert.  

Cassie Tapsall, 26, was sitting in her hotel at Kangaroo Point, when she received a call from a friend with free tickets on offer.

Ms Tapsall jumped at the opportunity as her husband and two friends joined her, arriving at The Gabba with 60,000 adoring fans on Saturday. 

With her front-row seats, she soon came face-to-face with the British songstress where she took the unforgettable selfie.

Ms Tapsall scored free tickets to the the concert when a friend called her up offering front-row spots only hours before the singer was due to take the stage

'(The concert) was amazing, really incredible.  

'She walked by quite a few times, but we had to be conscious of security – it was tricky,' she told the Brisbane Times

'I didn't realise we had a good one until after the show.'

Ms Tapsall was glowing in her review of the concert itself saying that the singer's sense of humour was a highlight.   

'Her little chats in between were hilarious .... and the opening of Hello was really amazing, everyone was really excited and waiting for that moment.'

Whilst the build-up to Adele's tour of Australia has been fever-pitch, the singer took a pointed aim at the Brisbane City Council. 

Speaking directly to councillors who opposed the concert being played at The Gabba, the singer was quick tell them to 'shut up'. 

'I know there was a bit of controversy about me playing the Gabba,' Adele said.

'I think they should shut up with their bloody moaning, f***ing hell. Shut up!'
