And Rita Ora was no different on Monday as she showcased her enviable sartorial ways in an eye-catching green gingham sundress.

The 26-year-old singer oozed spring vibes in the vibrant green and white mini dress that displayed her bronzed pins as she left her North London abode for the day.

The America's Next Top Model host layered her thigh-high slit number over an oversized white jumper.

Her choice of ill-fitting sweater made for an unusual look as she mixed her flirty frill strapped summer inspired garment with the long-sleeved piece.

Proving it's all in the details, both of her fashion choices featured interesting detail as her large jumper boasted logo emblazoned sleeves and pockets, while her dress featured a gold pin bearing letters from the Greek alphabet.

The former X Factor judge swapped her usual heels for a pair of Stan Smith Adidas trainers with a matching green tongue with her darling dress.

Rita Ora is no stranger to a fashion forward look. It is therefore of little surprise that we found her clad in a mini gingham slip dress, boasting a thigh high slit, which she wore on top of an oversized sweatshirt, the sleeves of which hung down almost to her knees.

The dress in question hails from Au Jour le Jour's SS17 collection and it wasn't the only one to feature the check print this season. House of Holland, Prada and Pringle all climbed on board the girly, gingham trend and the the affordable brands have swiftly followed suit. Putting the finishing touches to her ensemble, she worked her blonde tresses into a centre parting, before placing a pair of oversized square shaped shades over her peepers.

Rita's appearance comes after she enjoyed a night out with a group of friends and her stylist, Kyle Devolle, at London's exclusive 100 Wardour Street on Saturday.

The pop princess and her pals looked as though they were having a blast as they giggled away, sipping on Belvedere Vodka and wine throughout the night.

A source told MailOnline: 'The whole gang looked as though they were having a blast and Rita was in a great mood.

Rita's screen time in the Fifty Shades film was a fleeting 90 seconds, but she recently defended her cameo, after she was given a much bigger role in the second and third offerings of the popular film franchise.

Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: 'Everyone is going to have their own opinions.

'But for me this was such a great cameo to be involved in, and even though I'm only in it for a little bit, it's opened the door to a lot of movie things.'
