Claim CH504.3:
In 1936, Hardwicke Knight was kidnapped on Ararat but later released.
While lost on Ararat, he found timbers of dark, soft wood. This was on
the north side of the mountain, just below the ice pack.

Response:
- According to the account, the wood was so soft that it quickly
deteriorated. This contrasts with all other accounts of the Ark, and
it leaves no evidence to support the story.
- Knight himself did not associate the wood with the Ark until years
later. Given that other wood had been
carried up Ararat,
Knight's wood could have been something else.
