Kimberly, who now works as a dance teacher and talent show judge, recently told FEMAIL: ‘I’m definitely a homebody now. I’m more relaxed because my priorities have shifted. It’s not so much about me, me, me any more.

'My priorities are more about feeling good than looking great.'

Comparing her life now to her time in the MTV-award winning group, she said: ‘It’s less about selling albums and putting what up with what was a sort of 24-hour boot-camp.

'It involved living on the road, doing an hour and a half of dancing in a Pussycat Dolls show in stilettos, and then getting in the tour bus.’

Reflecting on her time in the band, she said: ‘I definitely have fond memories. But I don’t miss being on the road.

‘Now it’s about having that balance between family and career. The struggle is more in the balancing act than in the accomplishment of being a popstar.

‘I’m providing for the family so it’s still about getting out there, working, providing and creating a wonderful future for us.

‘But at the same time it’s about having that intuition and knowing when that balance starts to stray. If I feel like I’m working too much, it’s making time to be home which is so important.’
