With two children and a successful modeling career, Tess Holliday is busier than ever, but this weekend she managed to enjoy some quality time in bed with her family.

The 31-year-old model took to Instagram on Saturday to share a sweet photo of herself cuddling with her longtime partner Nick Holliday and their nine-month-old son Bowie Juniper.

'Sleepyheads,' the size 22 model captioned the image, which sees her topless and covered with only a bed sheet.

And while Bowie is wearing a white onesie and sitting on his mother's lap, Nick is shirtless and smiling from the other side of the bed.

Just a few weeks ago, Tess shared a photo of herself crying, revealing that she was struggling to balance motherhood and her career as a model.

'I've reached my limit, exceeded it to be honest,' she wrote. 'My confidence has taken a blow with this birth & it wasn't until this morning I realized why. The pressure of "looking good" for a living is too much today.

'When your face is breaking out from the hormones of breastfeeding + total exhaustion from lack of sleep, bags under your eyes, patchy red skin & to top it off no energy to work out or leave my bed.. how do you do it?'

However, Tess, who also has a 10-year-old son named Rylee from a previous relationship, appeared to be in much better spirits on Saturday.

After she posted her candid family photo, she shared another image of herself wearing a Zelie For She dress during a beachside shoot.

When posting the shot, Tess tagged the brand and photographer Lily Cummings, using her trademark hashtag '#effyourbeautystandards'.

The plus-size model has never been one to shy away from breaking boundaries and fighting back against stereotypical beauty standards, and her latest video project sees her taking the phrase 'baring it all' to the next level.

Tess recently posed completely naked and make-up-free without any direction other than to simply stare at the camera.

Shot as part of photographer Scott Nathan's provocative project 'Confessional', Tess is one of 100 women, all aged between 11 and 86, to appear in the series, which sees every subject given the same simple instructions: 'Listen to the music and don't take your eyes off the center off the lens.'

In her video, Tess can be seen lying on her side, covering her breasts with a tattoo-covered arm, while staring into the camera as jazz music plays in the background.

Sharing the video on her Instagram, Tess said of the project: 'Honored to have been a part of @scottnathaneditions 100 women series. No make-up. Each of us were given only one direction: "Listen to the music & don't take your eyes off the center off the lens." This is a preview of mine.'

Scott, who has spent decades photogaphraing women for glossy fashion campaigns, explains on his Instagram that the aim of the project is to 'destroy the power of objectification through the triumph of empathy' and fight back against the stereotypical view of 'idealized images of beauty'.

Tess's video release came just hours after she unveiled her new body positive swimwear campaign for ModCloth's latest collection, a fun shoot which saw her donning several brightly colored pieces and posing alongside other models of varying body types.

Tess revealed in an interview with People that the confidence she exudes in the shoot is not as easy to come by as it seems, saying that she actually gave herself a pep talk beforehand.

'I had to remind myself that I’ve been through this before and look at all the support around me and remember how lucky I am,' she said. 'Plus my partner Nick [Holliday] always tells me how sexy I am, so that’s not bad for my confidence either.'
