He's said to be 'very unhappy' with the cast of women he's meant to be falling in love with.

But it seems that contestants aren't the only problem Matthew 'Matty J' Johnson will be facing on the new season of The Bachelor.

Behind the scenes pictures of the hunky 29-year-old in his role as the face of Channel Ten's reality TV hit reveal just how 'intimate' things get on the show - with Matty confronted by a bevvy of cameramen and producers on one of his single dates, desperate to capture every shot and ensure everything goes to script.

A boat, a secluded waterway and gorgeous brunette would normally be considered the perfect conditions for finding love.

But as Matty sits and attempts to seduce his Kate Middleton-lookalike, the pair are far from alone.

Their intimate moment is instead spoiled by a number of men in close proximity, who are determined to ensure they don't miss a moment.

As make-up artists and producers fuss over his potential love interest, The Bachelor can be seen having his hair fussed over nearby by more Channel Ten staff.

Despite attempting to be chivalrous by offering his date a hand as she steps onto the boat, it seems at times cameramen are closer to him than the brunette beauty.

In between shoots the couple are stopped and spoken to by producers of the show to ensure every step plays out just right.

Even as their date comes to a close and the pair lay on the deck of the luxury yacht they are confronted by multiple camerman and staff.

But although they weren't afforded an alone moment, photos show the couple were the first to share a kiss on the new season. 

Fortunatley however, there was no sign of the fresh mints that had previously been handed out to ex-Bachelor stars Richie Strahan and Alex Nation.

At one stage Matty J was afforded an alone moment as he drove the boat towards his waiting date, but it was short lived with film crew jumping onboard shortly after.

Despite appearing smitten with his date, Matty J is allegedly so disappointed with his initial suitors he's demanded 'producers bring in the intruders - and fast'.

According to NW magazine, the Bachelor - who had his heartbroken in last year's season finale of The Bachelorete by Georgia Love - is unimpressed with the girls brought into the mansion so far.

'And if it means hauling themselves down to Bondi Beach to pluck a few bikini babes, so be it!' a reported show insider said.

The alleged on-set source has claimed that Matty is 'losing it' inside the mansion that houses the reality show's stars.

Bachelor host Osher Gunsberg had a different view on the situation, telling NW the rumours are 'utter bulls***'.

'Whoever told you that is absolutely full of it,' he added. 

The show insider added Matty is 'still not over Georgia' in reference to The Bachelorette star Georgia Love, who chose Lee Elliott over him in the show's finale. 

'He wishes he didn't do The Bachelor as he thinks he could have another chance with Georgia if she and Lee split,' the source alleged.

A Network Ten spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia that the claims are false.
