Layer up like Zara in a belted coat by Reiss
When it comes to race day style, you can take one of two approaches.
There's the practical feathered fedora, tweed coat and riding boots look, or the more glamorous dress, heels and a fascinator combination. But Zara Tindall managed to get the best of both worlds when she arrived for the first day of the Cheltenham festival!
Bravo to Zara that she managed to match her teal headpiece to her bag, but for us this outfit was all about that coat. It's from none other than Reiss, which of course is a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton.
The navy blue hue is less harsh than black, and we love the stand collar and belted waist. The satin trims give it that extra touch of luxe too! In short, it's the perfect coat to see you through spring in style so click (right) to buy it now.

Whilst we are more accustomed to seeing her in her jodhpurs and gilet, Zara put on a glamorous display in her navy coat, which she offset with a peacock velvet cocktail hat by London based milliner Juliette Botterill.

The 35-year-old glowed as she returned to the racecourse for the second time in a week to partake in a day of show jumping, cross country riding and dressage.
Zara displayed her athletic prowess as she competed in various rounds at the trials on two of her horses - Gladstone and Castle Black II.

The royal, who won team silver at the 2012 Olympics in London on her horse, High Kingdom, was also spotted sharing jokes and chatting with her groom.  Â
Zara is a serious international equestrian competitor, having garnered a gold medal at the European Eventing Championships in 2005 in addition to attaining a silver medal at the World Equestrian Games in 2006.
Zara and her former England Rugby captain Mike Tindall are a famously sporty and health-focused couple.

The royal, who is 16th in line to the throne, first met Mike 13 years ago, in Sydney, Australia during the 2003 Rugby World Cup - after being introduced by Prince Harry.
The Queen gave her consent to their marriage in May 2011 and their wedding was held on July 30, 2011 at the Canongate Kirkin Edinburgh, Scotland.
And now they live together in a cottage on her mother's Gloucestershire estate, Gatcombe Park, with their daughter Mia Grace.Â
