The caped crusader! Kellyanne Conway is subjected to merciless online taunts again after eagle-eyed Twitter user spots bizarre framed picture of her clad in a cloak in her New Jersey home

  • Kellyanne Conway was interviewed by the Bergen County Record in her Alpine, New Jersey home
  • Photographer Anne-Marie Caruso took photos of Conway and her daughters in the home
  • Two photos in particular show a framed picture on a nightstand of Conway wearing a cloak and posing
  • After tweeter Franklin Leonard pointed it out, the Internet was left to wonder why she was wearing a cape
  • During the interview, she said that microwaves which can turn into cameras are 'a fact of modern life'
  • Conway found herself in another photo gaffe when she was seen kneeling on the Oval Office's couch
  • She was taking photos of Donald Trump meeting with presidents of historically black colleges

Another photo of Kellyanne Conway has gone viral after an eagle-eyed Twitter user noticed a strange picture hidden in plain sight in her home.

Conway was being interviewed by a New Jersey journalist in her Alpine home when a photographer snapped a shot of her playing with her daughter Charlotte's hair.

But it is the framed image of her sporting a cloak with curled hair looking off into the distance that caused social media to go into a meltdown.

While it was originally believed that the coat was made of velvet, it's been revealed that it is in fact sheared beaver fur and fox trim.

The picture is perched on a nightstand in front of a white lamp and a retro figurine of a woman kissing a man's cheek.

It caused Twitter users to speculate: Why is Kellyanne wearing a cape?

Eagle-eyed tweeter Franklin Leonard noticed the photo and tweeted it out with the caption: 'Um...'

His observation has been favorited thousands of times.

Conway has three daughters named Charlotte, Vanessa and Claudia. All are pictured in the photo though Vanessa has her head burrowed away from the camera.

The photo evokes the now-infamous shot of Conway kneeling on a couch and taking photos of Trump while he was meeting with leaders of historically black colleges and universities.

During her interview with Bergen County Record columnist Mike Kelly, she discussed surveillance methods, which follows Donald Trump's allegation that Barack Obama wiretapped him during the election.

She told the Record: 'What I can say is there are many ways to surveil each other.'

She added: 'You can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets,' and said that there are 'microwaves that turn into cameras.'

She insisted that 'this is a fact of modern life' and did not offer any evidence of her claims.

She later told Good Morning America that she was not saying she had any evidence for her allegations.

She also compared Trump's call to investigate Obama - and the widespread dismissal of his claim - to calls from Democrats for Trump to be investigated over ties to Russia.

She said: 'The investigation is about a bunch of people who can't believe that Hillary Clinton lost the election.'

She added: 'I talked to people in Macomb County, Michigan, not in Moscow.'

This might have been a jab at Hillary Clinton losing Michigan, which had not gone to a Republican candidate since 1998, by a slim margin of 11,000 votes. Trump received 2,279,543 votes compared to Clinton's 2,268,839.

She concluded that the Russia 'conspiracy' is a 'waste of people's oxygen and air and resources and time.'

Alpine, where Conway lives, is an affluent New York City suburb situated less than 20 miles from Times Square in Manhattan.

Her and her husband are members of exclusive golf club 'Alpine Country Club,' where memberships can cost up to $75,000 plus an additional $25,000 in dues.
