Austin Guitarist Shot in Shoulder During Robbery on Opening Night of SXSW

Austin musician Michael Sanders was shot in the shoulder during an armed robbery on Friday night (March 10) while walking home from a concert on the first night of this year's SXSW festival. The guitarist for the local band Löwin was attacked near a spot that is popular for short-term rentals during the fest.

Classic East & Classic West Festivals Reveal Who Will Join Eagles, Fleetwood Mac on Lineup

Six artists will play the inaugural Classic East and Classic West festivals in New York and Los Angeles, Billboard has learned. Eagles will open the first night of the series with Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers. The second night will feature performances by Fleetwood Mac, Journey and Earth, Wind & Fire. Classic West will kick off July 15-16 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, with Classic East scheduled two weeks later, July 29-30, at Citi Field in New York.
