'Fun time talkin about #TheMaddieDiaries & busting a move with @MaddieZiegler today...' the 43-year-old Dancing With The Stars alum captioned an Instagram photo with the teen.

The former Dance Moms reality star was on the chat show to promote her new memoir The Maddie Diaries.

For the occasion she was dressed in an on-trend look, teaming a light blue blouse with a flared black skirt. She completed the outfit with a pair of strappy sandals that laced up to the calves and featured chunky block heels.

Ahead of the high profile appearances, she appeared on Lifetime's Dance Moms beginning at 8 years old until last year.

After concluding her time on Dance Moms, she was tapped as a reality show judge judge alongside Jason Derulo, Paula Abdul and Nigel Lythgoe in So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation.

Now, she has written a memoir about the highs and lows of her success at such a young age in The Maddie Diaries, which was released March 7.

Speaking to People magazine, she explained that she is relieved to no longer feel the burden of stress under the direction of her former Dance Moms coach, the fiery Abby Lee Miller.

'We lived through it, so I don't feel like we have to watch it, and it was just so much drama that I don’t want to see it again,' she told People magazine.

'I'm really glad that I did move on from that, and I did learn a lot from her and we did have some fun times,' she added, 'but I feel like now, I've never been happier in my life. I was stressed at 11 years old, which shouldn't happen.'
