Robin Thicke is on daddy duty this week while his ex-wife and mother of his son Paula Patton is busy filming her new TV show in Canada.

And on Thursday, the Blurred Lines singer was spotted bonding with his son Julian, six.

Robin, 40, held his son's hand accompanied by the star's young girlfriend April Love Geary, 22.

The little boy was nattily attired in a white collared shirt buttoned to the neck and a pair of fading blue jeans.

He also wore slip on black shoes.

His famous dad was dressed simply in black jeans with a black t-shirt and black sneakers.

Robin's girlfriend, however, appeared dressed to the nines.

She added a cropped black leather jacket slung over her shoulders and white sandal flats.

She wore her brunette hair tied into a bun and wore a pair of designer sunglasses.

Meanwhile, it looks as if Robin and ex Paula are managing to find a way forward in their custody battle over Julian.

Latest reports indicate that despite a bitter court battle, the two have now decided to try and co-parent together and are close to working out an arrangement they can both agree on.

The former couple met when she was 15 and he was 14, and dated for 10 years before getting married in 2005. The actress filed for divorce in October 2014.
