Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten lists her Upper East Side pied-à-terre for nearly $2 million after upgrading to a bigger apartment just blocks away

Ina Garten, aka The Barefoot Contessa, is selling her Upper East Side pied-à-terre. 

The popular Food Network cook and hostess recently listed her one-bedroom apartment at 71 East 77th Street for $1.97 million. 

But that doesn't mean she'll be leaving the neighborhood. 

Ina and her husband Jeffrey bought a larger two-bedroom apartment just blocks away in August.

They also spend a lot of their time in the Hamptons, where Ina's show is filmed, and in Paris. 

The couple bought the approximately 680-square-foot 77th Street co-op apartment in 2004 for $1.2 million and turned it from a two-bedroom into a one-bedroom unit with a double-height living room.

The Gartens' new home is located on Park Avenue. They paid $4.7million for the two-bedroom, 2,450-square-foot unit.
