Barron Trump takes his first trip across White House lawn

Barron Trump made a rare appearance at the White House on Friday, his first since President Trump took office almost two months ago in January. The 10-year-old son of President Trump was photographed while making his way across the White House lawn for the first time, where he boarded Marine One with his mom and dad. Barron got a chance to check out the White House earlier that day after it was confirmed that the middle school student and his mom Melania would be making 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue their primary residence starting in June.

No Oval Office handshake, no warm words about her country, a lecture on immigration and a wiretapping joke: Even Ivanka can't lift Trump's VERY chilly summit with Germany's Merkel

President Donald Trump had his chilliest summit yet with a foreign leader as he met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel today for the first time. Talks began with a warm welcome outside the West Wing but turned cold as Trump and Merkel disagreed publicly on almost every major international issue. Trump opened up a joint news conference with a slap at Merkel over her open-door refugee policy. Declaring that 'immigration is a privilege, not a right,' Trump said his first priority is to keep the country safe. He also pushed for her country to live up to its NATO commitment, stressing the 'need for our NATO allies to pay their fair share' for defense. Merkel told him it has always been her belief that it is better to 'talk to one another and not about one another' - a reference to the many disparaging statements Trump made on the campaign trail about her leadership. As the press conference came to a close, Trump told Merkel that they have 'something in common, perhaps.' They were both wiretapped by the previous administration, he implied.

The US government has no evidence to back up President Donald Trump's claim that his predecessor, Barack Obama, ordered intelligence agencies to spy on him during the 2016 election campaign.

'As far as wiretapping,  I guess - by this past administration - at least we have something in common, perhaps,' Trump said Friday as he and Merkel fielded journalists' questions at the White House.

Hillary plots comeback after mocking Trump on Twitter

Hillary Clinton said Friday she's 'ready to come out of the woods' and help Americans find common ground in a St Patrick's Day speech in her late father's Pennsylvania hometown of Scranton. The speech was just a few hours after she took to Twitter to make fun of the Trump administration's first few months in office. She quoted a tweet written by her former adviser Philippe Reines, who sarcastically pointed out what is obvious to many seasoned politicians- 'Russians spy. Health Care is complicated. Diplomacy is exhausting. Who knew?'

Ivanka Trump calls glam squad for Angela Merkel meeting

Ivanka Trump decided to try something new, opting for minimal make-up and a half-up/half-down coif (left with Merkel) that was the perfect blend of volume up top and bouncy curls below. Ivanka (top right in SUV, glam squad bototm right) also went with a very conservative look for the meeting, choosing a dark blue dress that had long sleeves and a turtleneck. She livened up the dress a bit by pinning a giant US flag over her heart, while also wearing a pair of starfish stud earrings from Tiffany & Co. just days after the news broke that her company would be ending the production of her fine jewelry collection.

Kate and Wills begin their Brexit charm offensive in Paris

The Duchess of Cambridge ensured all eyes were on her as she stole the show in a sweeping black gown at the gala held at the stunning official residence of the British Ambassador, Edward Llewellyn - Lord Llewellyn of Steep. The couple's charm offensive, which comes just days after the Brexit bill received Royal Assent allowing Theresa May to trigger Article 50, is the first time that William or Kate have visited Paris officially - although both have spent time in the city privately.

Prince William looked decidedly stony-faced (left) as a French choir (right) sang Pharrell Williams' hit song Happy - the same tune he 'dad danced' (inset) to over the weekend in Verbier. Perhaps reliving his wild Verbier antics, he failed to crack a smile as the a group of child performer gave a rousing rendition of the chart-topping song at a dinner at the British embassy in Paris on Friday. Prince William hit the headlines over the weekend after more clips emerged of him dancing in a nightclub in Verbier. In an embarrassing series of videos, the 'worse for wear' 34-year-old is seen letting loose with some 'dad dancing' while partying with friends at Farinet nightclub in Switzerland.
