He became a father for the seventh time five months ago, when fourth wife Kayte, 36, welcomed her third child.

Which explains why Kelsey Grammer, 62, was beaming from ear-to-ear as he arrived at celebrity eatery Craig's in Los Angeles with his beautiful English wife on Wednesday evening.

The Frasier star and former flight attendant got married in 2011 and have three children together - most recently welcoming a son, Auden, last November.

The actor - who reportedly earned around $1 million an episode when Frasier hit its peak popularity - looked dapper in his smart charcoal grey suit and crisp white shirt.

Carrying a jumper over one arm, the Cheers star beamed and chatted for cameras, while Kayte smiled politely.

The British beauty wore her platinum blonde locks long and straight and sported a new fringe which framed her fresh face.

Teaming her billowing-sleeved light pink floral frock with high tan heels, Kayte showed off her enviably toned legs.

The acclaimed star, who has won five Emmys and three Golden Globes, has seven children with five different women.

But, after a turbulent family life which includes losing his father at the tender age of 13 and suffering through his sister Karen's murder, Kelsey seems to have found happiness at last.

He lives between New York and Los Angeles with Kate and their three children Faith, Kelsey Gabriel and Auden.

The actor's first marriage to dance teacher Doreen Alderman produced a now 33-year-old daughter called Spencer Grammer.

In 1992, the Cheers actor and a hair and make-up stylist called Barrie Buckner had a daughter called Kandace Greer Grammer, who acts under her middle and surname.

Playboy model Camille Donatacci, who's since gone on to be a Real Housewife Of Beverly Hills, was his third wife.

The couple had two children together, a 15-year-old daughter called Mason and a 12-year-old son called Jude.
