'Anti-marriage' Wonderbra model Eva Herzigova announces engagement to father of her three children

Wonderbra pin-up Eva Herzigova has finally got engaged to the father of her three children, dashing businessman Gregorio Marsiaj, after swearing off marriage following her 1998 divorce.

The star of the iconic ‘Hello Boys’ campaign, 44, who was married to Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres for two years, confirmed the news yesterday.

The Czech-born beauty and her 40-year-old Italian fiance have three sons — George, nine, Philipe, six, and Edward, three.

‘I’m not a fan of marriage,’ Eva said after she started dating Marsiaj in 2002. ‘A relationship is about evolution and marriage halts the progression of love.

‘I’m a very independent girl and I quite like solitude.

‘Actually, I’m like a cat: I like being caressed, but I also need to go away — and then come back.’

Former Countdown host Carol Vorderman fell at the first sartorial hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival yesterday.

The 56-year-old arrived wearing an elegant, black, figure-hugging dress designed by Roland Mouret, accessorised with an avian-themed fascinator, black leather gloves, a brown waist belt and high heels.

However, clearly she realised that it was not the most appropriate garb for a muddy day at the races — as she swiftly changed into a pair of blue and burgundy knee- high boots, a grey coat and a tweed baker boy hat, before parading around the enclosures.

First, Jamie Oliver was attacked for putting his own twist on the classic Spanish dish paella by adding chicken thighs and chorizo.

Now, his rival TV chef Gordon Ramsay has come under fire over his culinary methods.

‘I’ve seen a video of you cooking pasta . . . Please never put salt on pasta once it is cooked,’ wrote an angry Italian woman on Ramsay’s social media account.

‘You salt the pasta and that’s it! If anyone in Italy sees you doing that, they’ll kill you (and I’ll help them)!’

Newsnight host Evan Davis, nicknamed Tinsel T**s on account of his piercings, insists he is shy: ‘I am not someone who wants to jump, dive or dance.

'I certainly don’t want to take my shirt off in front of the British public.’

Visitors to the Queen’s private retreat may be expected to mind their manners, but Balmoral staff have had to tick off litter louts for a second time.

They took to Facebook to try to shame campers at the 50,000-acre Scottish estate who failed to clean up after themselves. ‘A poor effort at tidying up a campfire pit by a group who camped on the estate this weekend,’ they wrote next to a photo of the debris.

‘Please leave no trace. Tread lightly in the park.’ Only a few weeks ago, the Queen advertised for a seasonal ranger, with their work ‘unfortunately’ likely to involve tidying up after litter bugs.

Last year, TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp said Her Majesty was a ‘keen litter picker’.
