Justin Bieber was spotted arriving in Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday ahead of his concert performance at Mount Smart Stadium.

A group of loyal fans, known as 'Beliebers', greeted the Canadian pop singer as he stepped off a plane at Auckland Airport in a black longsleeve T-shirt.

Later on in the night, Justin was pictured on stage with a pretty back-up dancer who got VERY close indeed to the 23-year-old heartthrob.

Justin had flown to New Zealand from Australia, his previous stop on the Purpose World Tour.

He looked in relaxed spirits after a busy few days in Melbourne and Sydney, and ready for his next performance.

Hours later, he took to the stage in front of 47,000 fans, as many of them shared photos and videos of the concert on social media.

A land Down Under! The Where Are Ü Now hitmaker had flown to Auckland Airport from Australia, his previous stop on the sold-out Purpose World Tour

One of the many clips posted Twitter during the night showed Justin getting up close and personal with a female back-up dancer.

Another video showed Justin surprising fans before his scheduled performance by joining Dutch DJ Martin Garrix on stage and kicking a soccer ball.

Later, a fan shared a photo on social media showing the thousands in attendance taking out their phones simultaneously to record Justin's show.

Perks of the job? A few hours later, Justin took to the stage as hundreds of fans shared photos and videos of the performance on Twitter and Instagram

They're Beliebers! Photos shared on social media from the concert showed a mostly female audience watching Justin perform in the sold-out Auckland stadium

He's coming! Before Justin's performance, a slightly smaller crowd enjoyed Martin Garrix's DJ set. A video later surfaced of Justin unexpectedly running on stage during the pre-show

Out comes the phones! One Twitter photo showed the thousands in attendance taking out their phones to record Justin's show

Justin's performance comes after he made headlines this month for attending a lavish boat party in Melbourne with a group of models.

He was photographed with Roze Cook, Sharah Fitzgerald and Kaysha Louise, among others, on board a $2,200-an-hour super yacht.

A source told Daily Mail Australia earlier this week that the female guests were arranged by Melbourne night club promoter Dushanka Foon.
