Drake admits he sends 'drunk texts' to Jennifer Lopez on new album but their collaboration does not make the cut... and Kanye won't be happy either

He is the Taylor Swift of the rap game and this hip hop star is not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve - especially when his rumored love is now consciously coupled with a baseball player.

Drake blew fans away by finally dropping his long awaited album, More Life, on Saturday night.

The new release - which the 30-year-old has dubbed a playlist - has a lot of surprises in its blistering 22 tracks.

After months of are they dating or are they dating or just collaborating chatter about Drake and Jennifer Lopez, the singer was both noticeably present and absent on the release.

The couple were romantically linked late last year but last month insiders claimed they had decided to cool things off.

Many had long dismissed the relationship as just a publicity device to promote an upcoming collaboration together.

But it seems despite all the late nights - both in the studio and in each other arms - the pair do not have a song together.

That or after the revelation Jennifer is dating Alexander 'A-Rod' Rodriguez, notoriously love sick Drake cut J Lo's part.

The singer was meant to feature on song Get It Together but instead the female verse is sung by Jorja Smith.

But while Drake and J Lo did not make beautiful musical together - or at least any that made it on to More Life - Drake was still obviously thinking about J Lo a lot.

Not only does Drake - whose real name is Aubrey Graham - admit to drunk texting J Lo, he also pays tribute to her musical career.

Someone who made the cut but will no doubt still be annoyed is Kanye West.

Despite the two former friends having a tense relationship since Kanye said Drake was 'overplayed' during one of his infamous Saint Pablo concert rants, Kim Kardashian's husband appears on song Glow.

The song does not lead the playlist in fact it is one of the last songs on the album.

While most people would be glad just to make what is likely to be one of the biggest albums this year Kanye will no doubt not like his track being number 18.

The album also features English rappers Giggs and Skepta as well as US hip hop stars 2 Chains, Young Thug, PARTYNEXTDOOR and a briefly, Lil Wayne.
