Rock and roll legend Chuck Berry has today died at the age of 90. St. Charles County Police confirmed they responded to a 'medical emergency' at his home near St. Louis, Missouri, at 12.40pm on Saturday. He was found unresponsive and first responders desperately tried to perform a number of lifesaving techniques. But the Maybellene, Roll Over Beethoven and Johnny B. Goode singer could not be revived and he was pronounced dead at 1.26pm. Tributes have tonight poured in for the music legend after the news broke earlier this evening. American singer, Huey Lewis, of Huey Lewis and the News, said: 'Chuck Berry. Maybe the most important figure in all of rock and roll. His music and his influence will last forever - Huey.'

Authorities investigating the murder of two Indiana teenagers served a search warrant on Friday at the home of the man who owns the property where the girls' bodies were found, top right. She alleges in her filing that her mother, maternal grandmother and aunt found traces of abuse on her after her father began having private parental visits with her. 'Canyon said there was a bang like a bomb,' said mom Theresa Mansfield, 'then an explosion of an orange substance that covered him and Casey, who was writhing in pain on the ground before he died right in front of Canyon.'

Faith Mason was dubbed Baby Faith back in 2013 when she was found in Southeast Texas with injuries so severe authorities had compared it to falling from a two-storey building. Now three years on, Faith is still recovering but has a permanent home after being official adopted by her new family on March 10. The little girl has been living with her adoptive parents and three teenage siblings for the past six months. Faith was taken to a hospital in Southwest Texas back in 2013 by her mother Christine Johnson and was found to have suffered at least 40 broken bones and fractures. Her biological parents, Christine Johnson and Darrell Mason, were both charged with child abuse and were jailed for 65 and 25 years respectively.

A Louisiana man livestreamed his own fatal shooting by a police officer on Facebook during a traffic stop on Thursday as his fiancee watched helplessly. Rodney James Hess, 36, was acting erratically and had attempted to hit cops with his car 'at least twice' before he was killed at around 2:15pm, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation told  NBC News. In the video streamed on Facebook Live from a roadside in Alamo, Tennessee, Hess can be heard saying he wants to speak to 'the higher commands' before leaving his car. He then appears to make some kind of movement and is shot several times through his windshield.

The piece appeared on Friday with a deconstructed denim pantsuit and button-up jackets, embroidered with circles, in various shades of blue. Amapo's line was inspired by the circus and cabaret. The Brazilian line was founded in São Paulo by designers Carolina Gold and Pitty Taliani. São Paulo Fashion Week is regarded as one of the biggest events in Latin America with millions of dollars pumped into the sartorial showcase.

Traversing through the grassy terrain of the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, a flock of 40 baby emus were led by their watchful father, with each chick paying dutiful attention to their dad. Known for their ability to move hundreds of kilometres at a time, the flock engaged in a race with the chicks leading from the front.

It wasn't an ordinary police call for someone trying to duck a subway fare. New York City officers found themselves chasing down a duck that strayed onto the tracks at a Brooklyn subway station Friday morning. Police arrived at the Jefferson Street station on the L line in Bushwick around 9.20am to find the duck down in the tracks. Train service was temporarily put on hold as authorities climbed down so as to retrieve the duck. The bird was collected and later released at Highland Park by officers.
