Justin Bieber 'has not spoken to police' about headbutting case before departing the USA to embark on Purpose world tour

Justin Bieber is still a suspect in an alleged assault at a pre-Grammy event in Los Angeles yet he is said to be remaining silent with police proceedings.

Sources report to TMZ, the Sorry singer has not given a statement to the LAPD in the misdemeanour battery charge case which occured last month.

The 23-year-old Canadian has been accused of headbutting someone trying to film him at a Sunset Strip restaurant, in a case which has now been referred to the District Attorney's office.

Alleged victim Dean Parker tried to snap a video of the singer larking around with friend Kyle Massey on February 11 at a Sunset Strip restaurant.

Parker alleges the Canadian born star lunged and grabbed at his camera, none of which was captured on video.

In the clip, you can hear whoever is filming, presumably Parker, call out to Justin saying 'Hey JB, JB' before Justin makes eye contact and swipes his arms at the camera before the video abruptly cuts.
