Ben Stiller's a big star with an even bigger heart.

Friday, the 51-year-old comedian helped raise over $1million dollars in under 24-hours to help Somalis facing starvation.

Late Friday, Ben posted an earnest black and white video to Twitter which explained the dire food situation in Somalia.

He shared a cleverly crafted - albeit far-fetched - plan thought up by his pal Jerome Jarre with fans.

The Vine star wondered if Turkish Airlines could help the stars deliver resources to people in need, so he used his army of fans to get the airline's attention.

The airline is in a unique position to help, as it is the only company which flies directly to Somalia.

Quickly the stars were able to raise heaps of money to support the campaign, but most exciting of all was their response from Turkish Airlines, who was totally on board with Jarre's outlandishly caring plan.

With the help of NFL star Colin Kapernick, YouTuber Casey Neistat, and all of their caring followers, Ben and Jerome got the airliner to promise one of their cargo aircrafts to send food to the African nation.

Turkish Airlines also promised that the shipment would be the first of many journeys to aid the hungry nation.

The stars were able to raise enough donations to promise 60 tons of food in their first relief mission.

You can still contribute to the cause via the Love Army For Somalia GoFundMe campaign.
