And Lauren Potter proudly walked the red carpet Tuesday night in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day as she attended a special screening of the feature film My Feral Heart in Beverly Hills.
The 26-year-old Glee star looked happy as she smiled widely on the red carpet in a blue leopard print sleeveless dress.

She showed off her quirky style by pairing the pretty knee-length gown with multi-colored striped socks and black patent leather shoes.
The pretty star wore her light blonde hair in feathered curls around her head and parted it to the side in a dramatic swoop.
The actress wore no makeup on her luminous skin that naturally glowed on the red carpet.
She attended the second annual World Down Syndrome Day event, which was sponsored by the Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles and Laemmle Ahrya Fine Arts Theatre, to show her support for the arts and highlighting members of the theater community.

Lauren was joined by actor Steven Clark, 25, who stars in Born This Way, a reality series on A&E that tracks the lives of seven young adults learning to navigate the real world.

There's just one subtle difference; all seven cast members were born with Down syndrome.
Steven was cast as one of the main characters in the show that depict the character's lives in a direct, no-frills manner and shares the similar challenges of fitting in that everyone experiences.

'Hey, I have a disability, and I'm OK with it,' Steven told the OC Register. 'And we don't like people limiting us because we have it.'

The film is meant to help highlight World Down Syndrome Day and assist in raising public awareness of Down Syndrome.
According to the website, the primary mission of DSALA is to enhance the welfare of people with Down syndrome and their families with the development and promotion of education, counseling, employment and recreational programs.
Potter gained fame after playing cheerleader Becky Jackson from 2009 until 2015 on Glee alongside Jane Lynch.
