And Carey Mulligan has revealed why she hates the spotlight so much in a new interview with So It Goes magazine.
The 31-year-old actress covers the SS 17' edition of the tome, a biannual publication that champions the original voices of today, for which she was interviewed by her Mudbound co-star Garrett Hedlund.

In the revealing interview, the talented Brit discusses her struggle during the early years of her career, confessing she used to end up in 'tears' due to the stress of promoting her films.
She told the publication: 'I would do red carpets and be a wreck by the end; I found it awful and weird, standing there in my outfits with my body being judged and my appearance and makeup.

She enthused: 'I wrote her a letter to say how amazing she was in Arrival and Nocturnal Animals. I just couldn’t not.
