Sweet tooth: Ivanka Trump indulges in some ice cream as she and Jared take their three kids and nephew out after a day on the Aspen slopes before heading to dinner with Eric and Lara

  • Ivanka and Jared Kushner took their kids out in Aspen Tuesday afternoon
  • Earlier in the day the  two older kids, Arabella and Joseph, were in ski school
  • Jared joined his family late Monday after going to work in DC that morning
  • The family of five was joined by Donald Trump III, Don Jr's son
  • Ivanka and Jared later went for dinner with Eric and his wife Lara
  • Don Jr and wife Vanessa left Aspen with middle son Tristan who broke his leg

Work hard, play hard!

After a busy day on the slopes on Tuesday, Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner gathered up their three children and nephew Donald III for a little apres-ski treat in Aspen on Tuesday afternoon.

The family was reunited in Aspen, Colorado on Tuesday when Jared arrived to the resort town a few days later than his wife and three children.

The group was all smiles as they walked into town and headed straight to Paradise Bakery & Cafe, where they loaded up on ice cream and treats before heading back to their hotel.

Ivanka could be seen pushing youngest son Theodore in his carriage while Jared carried three-year-old Joseph on his shoulders and Arabella and Donald III raced ahead of the group.

Lengthen your legs in Ivanka's Sonia Rykiel jeans

Everyone knows that the outfit you wear off the mountain is just as important as the looks you rock on the slopes.

It's no surprise that the unimpeachably perfect and fashionably flawless, Ivanka Trump understands this as she stepped out in Aspen yesterday afternoon wearing a chic apres-ski ensemble. Pairing a sorbet colored top with some high-waisted denim trousers-- she ensured that her off-duty was on point.

These pleated-front, two tone jeans by Sonia Rykiel lengthen Ivanka's legs and make for a chic take on classic workwear trousers.

We're not advocating you to toss your favorite skinnies anytime soon, but with Spring/ Summer on the horizon perhaps it makes sense to give your denim an update...that being said, click right to shop this first-class look over at Matches Fashion.

The eight-year-old is the only member of his immediate family still in town after his younger brother Tristan broke his leg, forcing his parents Vanessa and Don Jr to head back to New York City with his four siblings.

An envious Don Jr wrote on Instagram: 'Looking good guys. Missing you all and thanks for taking care of my little man Donnie.'

'For those who don't know Vanessa and I had to cut our vacation short (from 5 days to about 12 hours... ugh) because our other little man Tristan fell and broke his leg pretty badly.'

Eric and Lara meanwhile seemed to be enjoying some alone time, with Lara posting a photo of the Aspen sunset on her Instagram account.

The couple then joined up with Ivanka and Jared for dinner on Tuesday evening, heading to upscale sushi restaurant Matsuhisa, hailed as the 'holy grail' of sushi.

The Trump-Kushner clan made a colorful entrance as they walked into town, with lvanka leading the charge after changing out of her fiery red snowsuit into an orange-sherbert colored cashmere sweater.

Almost as eye-catching as her colorful top were the $510 high-waisted wide-legged patchwork jeans by Sonia Rykiel worn by the first daughter, who finished off the look with some iridescent Ray Bans and a pair of suede Katie pumps from her eponymous fashion brand.

Jared also tossed on a pair of jeans for the afternoon outing and added a little pop of color with his green wool sweater, which he wore with a $75 pair of Stan Smith sneakers and $150 pair Ray Bay wayfarer sunglasses, which were both completely black.

Arabella meanwhile was looking pretty in pink, wearing the same jacket and snowsuit she was spotted in earlier that day while she and brother Joseph hit the slopes with their mom and dad.

Joseph and Donald III also kept things simple by skipping the outfit change and heading to the ice cream shop in their ski wear.

After loading up on treats the group could se seen snacking on the goodies while making their way back to the hotel.

They six were also followed by a small pack of Secret Service agents for the trip, during which few people seemed to pay that much attention to the famous tourists in town.

Earlier in the day Ivanka, Jared, Eric and his newly pregnant wife Lara, who is expecting a boy in September, shared a photo from the slopes.

Ivanka and Jared then spent the afternoon with their older two kids on the slopes, teacher Arabella and Joseph how to ski.

After some runs, and a few falls, the family picked up baby Theo and cousin Don for a trip into town for ice cream.

Before the shopping run, Ivanka changed out of her sensational red ski suit and put on a peach top, two tone wide leg jeans and a pair of Ivanka Trump heels. Jared changed into jeans.

But little Joseph, Arabella and Don III left on their ski clothes, despite the unseasonable Aspen warmth.

Earlier Ivanka, Jared and their elder two children were photographed skiing together, with Ivanka working with Joseph, three, who had a little bit of a spill on his way down the mountain.

Joseph quickly picked himself back up however, and the group was off once again down the hill.

The group was also seen heading up the hill on the chairlift, with Arabella pairing up with mom Ivanka and Joseph sitting with his dad Jared.

Jared was joining the family for the first time, having stayed back in Washington DC for a few extra days due to work obligations.

He seemed excited for the time off, and got a chance to show off his ski style which, like his business style, is predominantly black and very fitted.

Ivanka also hit the slopes on Monday with Arabella, and the five-year-old looked like a seasoned pro as she showcased her french fry and pizza moves while skiing alongside her mom.

Arabella was later seen enjoying an ice cream cone as she and her mom went to go meet up with three-year-old Joseph, who was off on his own ski lesson.

Ivanka posted a photo of her two snow bunnies on Instagram that same day, writing: 'Exhausted little skiers! #springbreak.'

Jared was having a far less exciting day back home in Washington DC on Monday.

He was photographed leaving for the White House on Monday at around 8am, emerging from the basement of the  family's $5.5million rental home and glancing in both directions before darting into his waiting SUV.

A Secret Service agent joined him in the waiting vehicle, stepping of the home about a minute prior to his boss while carrying a black leather weekender bag that appeared to be packed and ready to go for the flight to Aspen.

Jared flew out to Colorado after work rather than join President Trump at his rally in Louisville.

Monday was a much better day for the rest of the Trump family, with Eric announcing that he and wife Lara were expecting their first child later this year.

Ivanka congratulated the couple on Twitter soon after, writing: 'Congratulations @EricTrump & @LaraLeaTrump! We're so excited for you both. You'll be incredible parents & we cant wait to meet our nephew!'

It was also baby brother Barron's birthday on Monday, with the fifth grade student turning 11 and celebrating with her mother Melania.

And Monday was a big day for Ivanka, with the announcement that she would be getting her own office in the White House.

It is a big step forward in her highly visible role in her father's administration, where she has been serving as his proxy for the past two months.

That role expanded in a big way last week when she joined Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in New York City for a Broadway opening and, most notably, when she arranged a roundtable discussion on worker productivity this past Friday between President Trump and Angela Merkel.

Ivanka arranged that event, with took place at the White House, at the request of the German chancellor and sat by her side during the discussion.

The new White House office will allow Ivanka to be closer to husband Jared and, like her husband, she will continue to not accept a salary for her work.

The White House also continued to maintain that Ivanka would not have an official role in the administration during the announcement of her new work space on Monday.

Ivanka was photographed on Sunday enjoying a little bit of shopping and some lunch with her brother Donald Jr. and sister-in-law Vanessa, with the group hitting up Club Monaco after grabbing some grub at Ajax Tavern.

The group opted for a casual look during their day out, with Ivanka outfitted in a black tracksuit and pair of Pumas while Vanessa looked as if she had just stepped out of a Cabela's catalog in her camouflage coat.

Eric and Lara stayed at home, perhaps with their eight nieces and nephews to get ready for their own baby boy that is on the way.

Don Jr. also got vocal on Twitter and Instagram on Monday afternoon when comedian Chelsea Handler went after his baby brother Eric and wife Lara when they shared their baby news.

'I guess one of @realdonaldtrump's sons is expecting a new baby. Just what we need. Another person with those jeans. Let's hope for a girl,' wrote Handler.

Don Jr. fired back soon after, writing: 'Jeans??? I guess I'm not at all surprised... but really?!?! #genes'

He then got a bit more heated on Instagram while addressing Handler's tweet, writing: 'Attacking the announcement of someone's first pregnancy would seem below the belt to most, but sadly that's no longer the case.

'As to the "hoping it's a girl" comment, I wonder if she knows that said "jeans" (aka genes) are passed from the same people whether it's a girl or a boy??? Based on what I've seen... probably not. So much for the party of science.'

Visitors in Aspen also seem to be less than thrilled with the Trumps, with one New York City resident on vacation at the ski resort this week telling Vanity Fair: 'They’re everywhere. There are so many of them.'

She then added: 'Everyone is complaining. Everyone is annoyed.'

Another Manhattanite told Dailmail.com, 'Secret Service are everywhere and she's followed by a huge white Suburban'.
