The special will air four days before the release of Jenner's tell-all book The Secrets Of My Life in which he will discuss his divorce from Kris.

Telling all hasn't always gone well for Caitlyn, who's Vanity Fair 'coming out' article caused a rift between he and Kris as well as Caitlyn's former step children Kourtney, Kim and Khoe Kardashian.

In the article, Caitlyn said that her ex Kris 'mistreated' her.

This revelation caused youngest stepdaughter Khloe to claim she was 'done' with her former stepfather.

It is yet to be seen how far Caitlyn will go in The Secrets Of My Life, however, the books description promises candid talk about Caitlyn's life as a member of the Kardashian Klan.

Diane's 2015 interview, where Bruce had not yet revealed his choice of the name Caitlyn, reached 17.1 million viewers.

Caitlyn documented her transition for an E! series I Am Cait from 2015 to 2016.

She still appears regularly on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Last week, UsWeekly claimed Cait will accuse Kris of pushing her into the closet.

A source close to Kris was quick to tell the weekly the claim was 'unfounded.'

It was also suggested that Cait 'resents Kris for a life she didn't get to live.'

Cait and Kris wed in 1991 and divorced in 2014. During their 22 years together they had two children, Kylie and Kendall, and she helped give him a new career.

Kris helped re-brand Bruce from Olympian to reality star with the help of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, earning him millions of dollars.

Meanwhile, Cait has been spending time with her new friends. At the Vanity Fair Oscar party she was in the company of trans model Andreja Pejic.
