It seems like Lena Dunham got a little too excited to cuddle with some adorable pups.

The 30-year-old star almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction while carrying two adorable brown dogs in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning.

The Girls creator had her hands full as she tried to sign for a package but wrestling with the furry critters almost made her spill out of her top.

Lena appeared to be going braless as she sported a very low-cut Brooklyn Nets T-shirt as the neckline drooped down on the outing.

The comedienne obviously knew she had a brush with overexposure as she had a shocked look on her face.

Not only did she seemingly go braless but also went shoeless as she was barefoot while rocking a pair of tiny black shorts.

Her brunette tresses were put up in a messy bun as she went totally make-up free.

Despite the risk of revealing a little too much on the public street in LA, Lena seemed to be delighted to cuddle with the cute pooches.

The relaxed day comes after an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Wednesday where she addressed being called a hypocrite for losing weight.

Lena said: 'Well it's just so crazy because I spent six years of my career being called things like 'bag of milk' on the internet, you know 'baby cow,' 'aging cow.' I just never felt self conscious about it.'

'Anyone who's going to take the time to say something negative about my weight on the internet wasn't someone I was particularly keen to impress anyway,' she explains.

She goes on to describe what happened after she started working out to get a handle on her endometriosis, which has been causing her pain.

Lena said: 'Then I had this experience of my body changing and suddenly I had all these people being like, 'you're a hypocrite, I thought you were body positive.

'I thought you were a person who embraced bodies of all sizes,' and I'm like I do, I just also understand that bodies change, we live a long time, things happen.'
