She's hot! Marion Cotillard looks effortlessly radiant as she poses up in a dry desert for new Dior campaign

French fashion house Dior has debuted its newest Lady Dior campaign featuring one of its favorite stars, Marion Cotillard.

The newest print ads see the 39-year-old posing up on a sun-soaked beach, clutching two of Lady Dior's latest handbags, while clad in a collection of the iconic labels beautifully-tailored designs.

With her hair swept back into a messy up-do, Marion, who has been modeling for Dior since 2008, showcases a subtly smokey eye and a nude lip, looking every inch the effortless fashion star.

In one of the ads, the Dark Knight Rises star can be seen posing up in a phone box, pressing her hand up against the glass of the booth, while raising the receiver in anticipation of making a call.

But despite her dusty, barren surroundings, Marion is modeling a bold high-knecked zip-up dress, proving that orange really is the new black when it comes to the spring season.

The starlet poses alongside a futuristic silver handbag from the Lady Dior collection, which features a charm embellishment on the hand, and a studded base.

In the second of the two images, Marion is pictured leaning on a silver pole, clutching an intricately-patterned bag to her body while wearing a sequin-embellished navy blue dress.

Pull out the plaid like Marion Cotillard in Dior

We think plaid is going to be the next big thing. And if the latest Dior campaign featuring Marion Cotillard is any indication, then our hunch is bang on!

Gosh do we ever love this look from creative director Raf Simmon's Pre-Fall 2015 Dior show. Plaid and sequins! It's an unexpected Studio 54 meets school girl chic scenario but it works. Who would've thunk?

And it's such a seamless look too. We'll be putting it to use by pairing our plaid dresses with sequin bags... Or perhaps by simply popping a sequin sweater on top.

Our style edit proves that plaid doesn't have to mean urban lumberjack. With picks from BCBGeneration, Shoshanna and Missguided, you can select whatever haute plaid option best suits you. Add any sequin accessory and you'll be the best style maven around by a long shot. Have fun with it!

While her glamorous attire might suggest a slightly more luxurious surrounding however, a sandy expanse can be seen stretching out behind her, with the hazy horizon serving as the perfect backdrop to highlight the campaign star's radiant beauty.

Marion has been the face of Lady Dior handbags - a one-time favorite of Princess Diana - since 2008.

The original Lady Dior bag was created in 1995 and quickly became associated with Princess Diana, who was regularly spotted toting the accessory.

According to CR Fashion Book, 'Dior sought her permission to name the bag in her honor, and the Lady Dior has been gracing the most discerning elbows ever since.'

Taking more than eight hours to manufacture the Lady Dior handbag consists of 100 different components, with its distinctive pattern said to be inspired by Napoleon II couture chairs used during the very first Christian Dior show in 1947.

And while Marion may now be considered something of a veteran when it comes to posing for the brand, she will soon be joined by the fashion house's newest campaign star, singer Rihanna.

A spokesperson for Dior confirmed earlier this year that the chart-topper had been signed up as the new face of its iconic Secret Garden, revealing that her new print and video campaigns, which were shot at the Palace of Versailles in Paris, France, are due to debut sometime this spring.

During an interview with MTV last month, the 27-year-old spoke out about the significance of her role as the first black campaign star for the fashion label, saying: 'It feels fantastic. It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any color.'
