Omarosa officiates bizarre reality TV 'funeral' in Times Square attended by Jon Gosselin, Tila Tequila, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Big Ang

Fake Reality has passed away at the tender age of 23.

The funeral was held in Times Square in New York on Tuesday, and was attended by reality stars Jon Gosselin, Tila Tequila, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Big Ang Raiola.

It was officiated by Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault, who is actually a fully ordained Baptist minister.

The somber service was in fact a publicity stunt to promote a new docu-series by AOL called 'Connected', which follows the lives of six real people living in NYC.

The attendees don't actually have anything to do with the new show - they merely represent the old style 'fake reality' shows this new series claims to put to rest.

The fake funeral even had a casket carried by pallbearers, a gospel choir, and a headstone that read 'Fake Reality 1992 - 2015'

The guests, who all became household names because of reality TV shows, each gave moving eulogies while committing symbolic objects to the afterlife.

Jon & Kate Plus Eight star Jon Gosselin, who shot to fame as the father of twins and sextuplets, threw an Ed Hardy T-Shirt into the coffin.

The 38-year-old was once very close with the lines founder Christian Audigier, and was frequently seen wearing the clothing, but they since fell out. Indeed the artist himself Don Ed Hardy has blamed the brands association with Gosselin with its plummeting popularity.

Meanwhile Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro parted ways with a dumbbell, some tanning lotion and a bottle of laundry detergent, symbolically laying to rest the show's infamous Gym, Tan, Laundry mantra.

Mob Wives star Angela 'Big Ang' Raiola committed a bottle of wine to the earth, while A Shot At Love star Tila Tequila sang.
