A Colorado man who pleaded guilty Friday to killing his estranged wife more than two decades ago recently led authorities to her body, which was buried under the grave of a World War II veteran. John Sandoval (seen left on Friday), pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the 1995 death of Kristina Tournai-Sandoval (right). As part of a plea deal, he told investigators March 22 the remains were buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens, a cemetery in Greeley. Sandoval found an open gravesite early in the morning on October 20, 1995, that was scheduled for a burial that afternoon. Prosecutors say he dug about two feet below the grave and buried Tournai-Sandoval's body, which was wrapped in several layers of industrial-grade plastic. Cemetery workers then unknowingly buried veteran Arthur Hert over her remains.

North Korea must be stopped on its path toward being able to threaten the United States with nuclear attack, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Friday in a stark expression of top national security concern. 'This is a threat of both rhetoric and growing capability,' Mattis said, alluding to the North's recent progress in building nuclear bombs and developing an intercontinental ballistic missile to deliver such weapons to U.S. soil. Experts believe North Korea will develop such capability in the next years, despite an array of international sanctions on the country. The Trump administration has been conducting a broad policy review of North Korea that includes military options, but Mattis stressed other approaches.

Ivanka Trump refused to let a little rain stop her from enjoying her time back in New York City on Friday, with the first daughter sneaking out of her $16million Park Avenue penthouse to run some errands. It was a sad and somber Ivanka who was seen exiting her old Manhattan digs, with the 35-year-old mother-of-three standing underneath an umbrella being carried by her doorman and keeping her face fixed on the ground as she made her way into the streets. She opted to leave her three children behind for the mid-morning outing, and was accompanied by only her government-issued Secret Service sidekick.

Police have found the remains of a six-year-old girl who went missing from her bedroom in Tucson nearly five years ago, putting an end to an exhaustive search that roiled the community and beyond. Tucson Police Chief Chris Magnus said Friday that police found the remains of Isabel Celis (main) in a rural area of Pima County about a month ago 'not by happenstance'. The remains were identified through an independent out-of-state lab, Magnus said. Celis was last seen April 20, 2012, when she was six years old. Her father reported her missing the next morning after finding she was not in her bedroom. Police never named any suspects, but they said they found 'suspicious circumstances around a possible entry point' in the home. Her parents Sergio and Becky Celis are pictured top right in 2015. The entire cheerleading squad at the Coastal Carolina University has been suspended after allegations of prostitution emerged in an anonymous letter sent to the college president. The athletic department suspended the team indefinitely and launched a conduct investigation just one week before a national competition in Florida, WMBF reported. An anonymous letter accused the students of prostitution, buying alcohol for underage students, and paying others to do their homework, one teammate told the local news station. Police are not involved in the investigation, and teammates, as well as their parents, have hit out at the school, saying the 'false accusations' have tarnished their hard work and led to harassment. Alison Gelb Pincus, 42, filed for divorce from her husband Mark Pincus, 51, in San Francisco County Superior Court on March 16, according to newly revealed court filings. Mark, the founder of gaming company Zynga and early investor of Facebook and Twitter, is worth an estimated $1.27 billion, according to Forbes. Alison is the co-founder of One Kings Lane, which sold to Bed Bath & Beyond last year for $30 million.

Google released Ms Pac-Man for users to play while using its Maps feature for April Fools' Day on Saturday (pictured). Users can play on their mobile phones, desktop and laptop computers and the screen of streets will morph into the beloved arcade game. The company first tried out the original maze game of Pac-Man on Maps exactly two years ago and it was wildly popular. Google announced the game on Facebook with the caption: 'She's a map-eater. And today, you can be one too.' Ms Pac-Man was originally released as an arcade game in 1981 (inset).

Alec Baldwin has admitted he overdosed in his twenties. The 58-year-old actor struggled with substance abuse issues over 30 years ago and in his new memoir, 'Nevertheless', he opens up about his close call. Speaking on 'Good Morning America' about the book, he explained: 'I think I was one of the people who was lucky that it stuck, and therefore if I didn't get it then, I think I would've got it eventually.'

The Tennessee teenager who was abducted by her teacher almost three weeks ago was spotted with her captor just two days after her disappearance. New images that were captured by a security camera at a Walmart located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 15 show Tad Cummins, 50, and Elizabeth Thomas, 15, stopping in to purchase supplies before quickly heading out of the store. The tape also shows that Cummins has dyed his hair from brown to black while Thomas is now a redhead. Video that was later released of the visit shows the two in discussion as they enter the store, with the teenager looking upset with the man wanted for her kidnapping.

A New York City cat who has made a speedy recovery after he was found burned and abandoned in Brooklyn was renamed Hugh Jackman due to Wolverine-like healing. In the bizarre scenes at Peoria, Arizona on Thursday, players from both the Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres went flat on the dirt as bees stormed the infield. The bee invasion happened during the ninth inning of Colorado's 10-5 win over San Diego. Footage of the ordeal shows Padres pitcher Trey Wingenter stepping off the mound when the horde hit before dropping to his knee. Seconds later, Wingenter, Rockies batter Daniel Castro, plate umpire Alex Tosi and everyone else in the infield could be seen dropping flat on their stomachs. The broadcast picked up someone yelling, 'Bees! Bees!'

The Australian model hoped to relaunch her modelling career after making headlines for hanging out with Prince William and his pals during a Swiss vacation earlier this month. Badgers have been known to bury other food stashes, such as mice and rabbits, and they have been known to scavenge meat from larger carcasses before.

An astonishing picture has surfaced that has social media users perplexed as to its authenticity. The image appears to be a massive python swimming through flood waters. Some social media users believe the picture has been photo-shopped or is fake while others have stepped forward to claim that the snake was real.

BooBoo the cat went missing four years ago in Watsonville, California, and amazingly turned up more than 2,000 miles away in Ontario, Canada, earlier in March. Her owner Olga Chmelicek traveled to Buffalo, New York, in order to be reunited with the six-year-old tabby on Thursday. The cat had a habit of jumping into people's cars, as the family suspects this is how BooBoo managed to get so far from home. The Guelph Humane Society was able to identify the family pet through a microchip implant.

Cops arrived and threatened to Taser a man who was approaching with a knife - before realizing the stranger only wanted to cut Chavez free.
