An ace home! Tennis ace Novak Djokovic buys stunning three-bedroom beachfront mansion in Miami for $8.9million

Even though Novak Djokovic was forced to withdraw from the Miami Open due to an elbow injury, the tennis star still managed to hit a grand slam with his recent purchase of ultra-luxury home on Miami Beach.

Djokovic, who is currently ranked ranked number two in the world, snapped up the three-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom unit at the yet-to-be-built Eighty Seven Park by Renzo Piano on Miami Beach.

Piano also designed the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.

The 12-time Grand Slam champion will be moving into the lavish $8.9million home once it is completed, which is developed by two New York-based real estate firms, Terra and Bizzi & Partner.

The glass, beachfront condominium tower floats atop a two lush parks with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean.

As a resident, Djokovic will enjoy interiors designed by RDAI – globally recognized for their work with luxury brand, Hermès.

He will also receive a coveted 'key to the park' which will provide access to the residents' gated private park on the North side of the building being sculpted by Dutch landscape firm West 8 - renowned for its famed transformation of New York's Governor's Island.

The building has just 70 residences in total and features hotel amenities that exist nowhere else, making Eighty Seven Park the perfect South Florida home for Djokovic and his family.
