He was spotted looking tense Friday morning in the wake of reports he has split from model girlfriend Jasmine Yarbrough.

And later that night, Karl Stefanovic appeared to fly solo as he joined family and friends in Kangaroo Valley ahead of his brother's impending nuptials.

As the soon-to-be-married couple Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic looked more loved up than ever, Karl attended the rehearsal drinks minus his own leading lady.

The Today Show host was spotted arriving at The Friendly Inn pub that evening, catching up with fellow presenters Tim Gilbert and Richard Wilkins.

He looked relaxed and comfortable in a pair of dark denim jeans and a white shirt, with a stylish grey jacket completing the look.

He complimented the ensemble with brown boots an a matching leather belt, along with a pair of black sunglasses hung from the front of his shirt.

It appeared to be the same outfit he had worn earlier in the day while filming the Channel Nine breakfast show in Brisbane.

Notably absent form the outing though was his 33-year-old partner Jasmine Yarbrough, who is said to have returned to America last week.

The Los-Angeles based beauty flew to Hong Kong on a business trip before heading home to work on her shoe label Mara & Mine.

It comes as reports emerged that bride Sylvia banned the model from attending her nuptials.

According to Woman's Day, the reporter did not want to attract a 'media circus' on her big day, and so chose not to invite the shoe designer.

While Karl was reportedly left 'disappointed', Jasmine is said to 'understand' Sylvia's concerns, according to the publication.

Despite her absence, Karl appeared in high spirits for his brother's wedding, engrossed in a phone conversation and smiling as he made his way through the town.

Last year the popular Today host split from his wife of 21 years, former ABC journalist Cassandra Thorburn.

It has been reported that Cassandra will not attend the wedding either, despite remaining close with Karl's future sister-in-law Sylvia.

Karl moved on with his new beauty late last year, with the two believed to have met at a boat party.

Rumours circulated earlier in the week that the pair had split, just days after Karl had been introduced to the blonde beauty's parents.

The reports were denied by a 'close family friend' who spoke to The Daily Telegraph.

The insider said: 'These stories they've split - it's just not true. She's gone back to LA to look after her business. They're both devastated they're not together.'

Sylvia and Peter are due to be married in an intimate ceremony Saturday, with sources confirming to Daily Mail Australia that the couple had chosen Ooralba Estate.

The venue is said to be a lush home set on private acres featuring a pool, olive grove and golf course.

It is situated high on the hillside, offering stunning views of the surrounding Kangaroo Valley, which is located just two and a half hours from Sydney.

Both the bride and groom appeared in a jubilant mood ahead of their nuptials as they enjoyed a drink to catch up with those closest to them.

Joining them was Karl and Peter's mum Jenny Stefanovic, as well as her sister Anita.
