She wed girlfriend Georgina Gordon in a romantic ceremony last year.

And former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan looked to be in high spirits as she enjoyed a date night with her wife at the Menagerie restaurant in Manchester on Saturday night.

The singer, 25, looked happy and relaxed as she stepped out in a printed black and white shirt, teamed with black skinny jeans.

She added a black denim jacket to the ensemble to fend off the night-time chill, completing the casual look with a pair of brown leather boots.

Wearing her raven locks down over her shoulders, Lucy opted for a minimalistic make-up look, accentuating her eyes with a liberal coating of mascara.

Her wife Georgina meanwhile opted for a glamorous gold dress featuring a plunging neckline and a daring thigh-high split.

It comes as Lucy revealed that she and Georgina have been approved as foster carers in an Instagram post on Thursday.

Sharing a sweet snap of her with Georgina, she wrote: 'Me and my fabulous wife are now officially approved foster carers! Woo!'

The couple tied the knot last July, after getting engaged back in 2015.

Speaking about how she proposed, Lucy told OK! magazine at the time: '[Georgina] didn't have a clue and she turned around and I was on one knee – it was amazing, I think I knew that she'd say yes but it was still scary.

'I got a boat – she didn't know we were going on a boat, we went underneath Albert Bridge and her friends and family, her mum was on the bridge with all of her mates.'

She added of Georgina: 'I find peace when I'm with her and she makes me feel safe and happy.'

Lucy competed on The X Factor in 2012, but eventually quit after falling ill and not wanting to unfairly go through each round without competing.
