Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams were spotted donning their 19th century finest Saturday.

They weren't headed to a masquerade, rather, the stars were shooting The Greatest Showman on location in New York.

The upcoming musical follows the life of circus owner PT Barnum and is set during the mid 1800's.

For the scene, the Logan lead, 48, donned a whimsical top hat and red tailcoat while horse drawn carriages whirred around the Aussie actor and his on screen family.

Williams, who plays Charity Barnum, was wrapped in a berry colored cape with fur collar while child actresses playing their daughters looked sweet in matching red and blue coats with round collars.

On set, the Tony award winner was ready to spring into song, pointing his cane skyward and gazing off with a glimmer in his eye.

At CinemaCon in Las Vegas Friday, Hugh talked about the upcoming project with a theater of adoring fans.

According to the singing-dancing actor, The Greatest Showman is a celebration of 'creativity and what is unique about each and every one of us.'

He also revealed that the picture took seven years to bring to life.

'This movie is about taking risks… and that is what is going to propel this business,' the star told the CinemaCon crowd. 

Hugh and Michelle star alongside Zac Efron, Zendaya, and Rebecca Ferguson in the flick directed by Australian newcomer Michael Gracey.
