One American woman took out an entire billboard to advertise a special message for her cheating husband, while other examples come from irate drivers and vengeful roommates.

Footage surfaced overnight, showing a possible sighting of Tad Cummins, 50, and Elizabeth Thomas, 15, at a Kearney, Nebraska McDonald's Sunday night (left). The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has not yet confirmed the sighting. Thomas (bottom right) is believed to have left willingly with her former teacher (bottom center) on March 13. They were last seen two days later, at a Walmart in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. If the new sighting is confirmed, that means that they have only journeyed about 450 miles north of where they were last spotted nearly three weeks ago. And it means they're not posing as missionaries in Mexico, as one theory has proposed. Meanwhile, Cummins' wife Jill (couple pictured top right) filed for divorce on Friday, citing 'inappropriate marital conduct' on her husband's part. The couple had been married for 31 years.

Nathaniel Joseph Rosa, 31, was shot dead on Saturday morning inside the bathroom of a property in Belfair, Washington after he allegedly broke into the home and took a shower. The man who owns the property has been charged with murder after opening fire on Rosa in the bathroom. The man owns two pieces of property next door to each other. He lives in one house and runs an internet-based business next door, which is where he found the intruder. Police said the man confronted Rosa in the shower before going home to get his gun. They said the man had time to call 911 before the shooting, and they don't believe he warned Rosa that he had a gun.

His longtime creative partner Lynn Novick said they had spent a decade talking to hundreds of veterans from both sides of the bloody conflict in which as many as 3.6 million people may have died. She said now was the time for the monumental opus, which will screen on US public TV every weekday night for a fortnight in September.

Bette Davis was a heavy favorite to win the Oscar for Best Actress thanks to her work alongside Crawford in 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?' and take home her third acting award. It was Davis' 10th nomination and would have been her third win had her name been called, but to the shock of many it was Anne Bancroft who won for her portrayal of Helen Keller's mentor Anne Sullivan in 'The Miracle Worker.' Aidan Pankey, 10, died of rat-bite fever from one of his pet rodents in June of 2013. The rodent was bought by his grandmother at a San Diego Petco store (inset) two weeks before he tragically died. His family sued the company for his death and the trial's opening statements were made on Wednesday. The family's lawyers claim the company didn't do enough to protect its customers from the deadly bacterial infection.

A global cosplay champion has revealed how she taught herself how to sew her own costumes to transform herself into fictional characters. Sam Mansfield, from Australia (pictured) spends her free time creating intricate costumes to wear at pop culture conventions around the world. Going under her cosplay alias Major Sam, the 26-year-old has recreated popular female characters, including Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Jessica Rabbit (left), Mara Jade from Star Wars and Evie Frye (inset).

Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner is currently in Iraq travelling with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Marine General Joseph Dunford, according to multiple media outlets. A senior Trump administration official said Kushner wanted to see Iraq for himself and show support for the Iraqi government. His visit comes as military divisions were deployed to northern Iraq as they increase efforts to reclaim the city of Mosul from the Islamic State.

WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT: Bullfighter Daniel García Navarrete, 23, was pierced several times (pictured) in Spain's biggest arena, Las Ventas, in Madrid. The attack was witnessed by a horrified audience of 10,000 who originally thought he had been struck just once in the thigh. But after being rushed to hospital in a serious condition, doctors revealed that he had been pierced four times, twice in the neck and the other two through his jaw.

Shocking footage has emerged of a comedian bringing a terrified kangaroo on stage with him in what some are calling 'animal abuse'. Mike Epps, best known for his appearances in the Hangover movies, shocked on-lookers in Detroit on Friday, but ran away after Skippy retaliated by throwing a punch at the actor. The 47-year-old showed little remorse for his actions as users took to social media to lash out at the actor for his callous behaviour. Epps, who played drug dealer 'Black Doug' in the Hangover movies was performing at the Festival of Laughs comedy show when the kangaroo appeared on stage with his handler. Footage shows the comedian egging on the kangaroo to partake in the show, but runs away when the 'roo punches him in the face. The handler, undisturbed by the clearly distressed animal, joined in the frivolities appearing to rev up the crowd as he held onto the kangaroo on a leash.

Although the Duchess of Cambridge, 35, always looks impeccably polished, she opts for styles that can make her look much older than her years. During World War Two, Soviet photographer Yevgeny Khaldei never parted with his camera and spent 1,418 days chronicling the horrors he witnessed. He is best known for his iconic image of soldiers unfurling a large Soviet flag on the roof-edge of the Reichstag after the Red Army took control of the seat of Nazi power on May 2, 1945. He portrayed the Soviet war machine the way Stalin wanted the world to see it and also recorded the liberation of Sevastopol, Sofia, Belgrade, Bucharest and Vienna, as well as the eventual fall of Berlin. He also photographed every Russian leader since Stalin and his photos of the Allied summit meetings at Yalta and Potsdam, as well as the Nuremberg trials, were distributed across the world. His daughter, Anna, has now regained possession of his negatives after a 15-year court battle. She is now preparing to bring them back to Moscow and open an exhibition this month that includes previously unseen shots by the famous photographer.

Shocking footage captures the moment a large cargo ship smashes into a smaller vessel, sinking it in the middle of a Nicaraguan river. Despite the huge impact, all the passengers were safe. The clip taken from the smaller boat called Capitan D shows a larger cargo ship, the Jan Caribe, heading towards it in the river Escondido, in the southern Nicaraguan region of Caribe Sur.

This is the chilling moment when a 15-year-old mother from China boxes up her live newborn before disposing of the package in a dustbin. Officer Betty Shelby, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, sat down on Sunday for her first interview after she was charged with manslaughter for shooting dead unarmed black man Terence Crutcher. The police officer revealed that before she killed the man in September of 2016, had an 'odd' and 'zombie-like' behavior. She also revealed that her husband watched her open fire from above in a police helicopter where he was working as a spotter.

Eerie photographs have come to light of an Italian-style mansion in North Carolina which has been crumbling away for decades. The house (pictured, left) near Red Springs, North Carolina, is 107 years old but its elderly owner passed away decades ago, leading to a long, slow process of neglect. In one image (bottom right) we see a decrepit but colorful kitchen filled with crockery and it's not hard to imagine a busy kitchen as servants prepare meals for the wealthy family

The 437-year-old book, called the 'Theatrum Orbis Terrarum', was the first attempt to pull together all the maps of the known world. It was created in Antwerp by Abraham Ortelius in 1570. Due to their age, the hand drawn maps do not feature Australia or New Zealand, as they had not been discovered.

Heartwarming footage of two teams of French bulldogs playing football against each other has gone viral after a campaign to raise awareness for disabled dogs was released. The promotional video features a mock fixture where the adorable mutts run excitedly around the pitch chasing a football. The video was released ahead of the annual Prague derby between AC Sparta Prague and SK Slavia Prague - in cooperation with FRBUL (French Bulldog), a Czech organisation that shelters French Bulldogs with disabilities.

Horrific footage captures the moment an amateur Portuguese footballer viciously assaulted a referee - kneeing him in the face breaking his nose. Marco Goncalves was arrested for assault. The sickening incident happened early into an amateur match in Portugal between Porto league sides Canelas 2010 and Rio Tinto. Police rushed onto the pitch to take Goncalves away and he was later arrested and told he would have to face trial. The match, which had just started, was suspended as a result of the violence after two minutes.

Two turkeys were filmed when they decided to play a game and run around each other. One grows too dizzy and comically falls over. The clip is believed to have been filmed in the United States. The awkward runaround seems to be a form of the traditional mating ritual for turkeys, as they are known to strut, plump out feathers and stretch out their wings.
