'I miss you sitting on the toilet when I'm in the bath': Megan McKenna's resolve crumbles as desperate Pete Wicks makes a last ditch attempt to win her back on The Only Way Is Essex
He left her devastated after sexting an array of other women including his ex-girlfriend Jacqui Ryland behind her back - leading to their abrupt split.
But Pete Wicks made significant headway in his continued attempts to win back Megan McKenna during Sunday evening's episode of The Only Way Is Essex.
The tattooed hunk made a last ditch attempt to woo the newly fringed brunette while she attended a beauty class at Chloe Sims' salon with close pal Danielle Armstrong.
Come back to me: Pete Wicks made significant headway in his continued attempts to win back Megan McKenna during Sunday evening's episode of The Only Way Is Essex
'Sorry to interrupt,' he said sheepishly. 'I thought I'd come because I needed to see you, to tell you that I miss you.
'My life ain't been the same without you. I miss you sitting on the toilet when I'm in the bath. I miss you dribbling on my chest when you're sleeping.'
Pete had previously been offered the use of pal Tommy Mallett's caravan, a gesture that was made as he considered ways to win back his former girlfriend, and the offer was clearly on his mind as he made his final gambit.
Desperate: The tattooed hunk made a last ditch attempt to woo the newly fringed while she attended a beauty class at Chloe Sims' salon with close pal Danielle Armstrong
Working his magic: Pete's final gambit appeared to win Megan round, with the tattooed hunk listing all the things he missed abut his former girlfriend
Listening in: Chloe Sims looked on as Pete addressed Megan, telling her he wanted to 'take her out of Essex'
'I want to take you out of Essex and for you to remember what we had, what I think I had,' he told her. 'I want you to know that I do love you and I'm still trying. I'm not going to give up on you.'
As he made a dramatic exit, his desperate plea appeared to have worked its magic on a breathless Megan.
'I was not expecting that!' she told the girls, who unanimously agreed that she should take Pete up on his offer.
Surprise surprise: Pete looked a little sheepish as he made an entrance during Chloe's beauty masterclass
Meanwhile: Kate Wright had an emotional confrontation with ex Dan Edgar on Sunday evening
Birthday boy: The former couple reunited to help celebrate pet dog Ronnie's first birthday
Elsewhere Kate Wright was brushing aside her own relationship issues with Dan Edgar in order celebrate pet dog Ronnie's first birthday.
'How can you have a birthday party with all gluten free dog cakes and have nothing for us?' asked a bemused Chloe as the girls chatted over drinks at The Owl.
But the question was cut short by a text from Dan, who revealed he'd bought a special surprise for the pooch and was waiting to deliver it in the beer garden.
The bearded hunk had opted to buy Ronnie a teddy emblazoned with a picture of his face - and with good reason.
'It's because if it all goes t*ts up he's going to remember me,' he explained.

Good reason: 'It's because if it all goes t*ts up he's going to remember me,' he explained
Thank you! Kate initially seemed delighted with the thoughtful gift from her ex boyfriend
But Dan had an altogether more important reason to visit The Owls - to check on Kate, who admitted she was bemused by his decision to tell people that he is still in a relationship, despite being single.
'I've been single for a long time but in the back of my mind I'm thinking "Is this going to annoy Kate?" he explained.
'I find it impossible to be in a room with you and see you as my friend, because I don't,' she responded. 'I still love you; I find it difficult to have half of you.'
Welling up, Kate admitted she couldn't wait for Dan if he refused to curb his hard partying ways, telling him: 'I'm not going to be here while you do what the f**k you do.
Emotional: But the smiles soon turned to tears as Kate bitterly discussed her feelings for Dan
Take that: As she stormed off in tears Ronnie's gift was left forlornly lying on the patio, where it remained
'I'm saying I love you but you're saying you still want to do what you're doing... I'm not a mug Dan. I don't want to talk to you while you're doing that.'
As she stormed off in tears Ronnie's gift was left forlornly lying on the patio, where it remained.
Elsewhere Bobby Norris was readying himself for his 31st birthday by penning a special poem for an open mic night.
Elsewhere: James 'Arg' Argent showed off some hitherto unknown literary skills on Sunday evening
Essential reading: The TOWIE star swatted up with a copy of Poetry for Dummies ahead of an open mic night
But while the flamboyant star's rhymed verse went down well, it was James 'Arg' Argent who proved to be the night's surprise contender with an untitled, self penned poem about his beloved Essex, composed after he swatted up with a copy of Poetry For Dummies.
Taking to the stage he mused: 'Brentwood, Woodford, Romford and Onger, these are the places that I do wonder, no places that the girls are blonder, no place else you can drive in a souped up Honda, no place am I fonder.'
Somewhat predictably, his reading went down a storm.
The Only Way Is Essex continues on Wednesday, October 26, ITVBe at 10:00pm.
