Calling all fashionistas! Victoria Beckham throws star-studded garden party complete with mermaids to celebrate her collection with Target

London is calling and the Brits are coming!

Victoria Beckham's collections are usually launched with an exclusive runway but considering her new collaboration with Target is a bit more family-friendly and a lot more accessible, the star opted for something far more relaxed but just as fabulous.

The 42-year-old threw a fabulous garden party high above Los Angeles, California, for her famous friends and their families on Saturday.

The former Spice Girl stepped out in one of her creations for the department store.

The designer wore a blue silk shirt from Victoria Beckham for Target which featured a white lily on it.

The style maven added the matching tailored pants which she wore very long covering her shoes.

While Victoria stuck to her signature poise and did not smile, she did ham it up and pose in an old English phone booth.

She also joined Jessica Alba and Naomie Harris for photo which Jessica shared on her Snapchat.

Victoria brought along daughter Harper and a lot of her guest also brought along their children.

And the little ones were amused by live mermaids who splashed around in the pool.

There were also impeccably displayed candy jars for them to grab a few sweet treats from.

Victoria's range includes children's wear as well as womens, plus size and homewares and all were on display around the grand setting - a hillside mansion.

While most of the celebrities opted to wear the collection head-to-toe, Jessica Alba took a more casual approach.

The 35-year-old wore a bumble bee printed shirt from Victoria's range with slim fit jeans.

The jeans featured a raw cropped hem which was perfect for showing off her black and white platforms.

The star further accessorized her look with a suede bag and big tan belt and wore her sun-kissed locks in a half up, half down 'do.

Zoe Saldana meanwhile went all in with her Victoria Beckham For Target look.

The 38-year-old wore a pair of the voluminous cropped trousers from the collection and paired it with a matching black silk shirt which cinched in at the waist.

The Avatar star added a pop of color courtesy of her bright red lipstick shade.

Pal Naomie also wore shorts from the collection, showing off some leg in some loose-fit thigh high black shorts.

The actress went for a preppy look, wearing a matching tank over a white shirt.

Embracing the same color palette, Camilla Belle made a style statement in black and white.

The 30-year-old wore a pair of gingham capris with a matching top that had a ruffle edge.

The star then wore black and white heels which wrapped around her ankles and added round classic black sunglasses.

Wearing just a hint of color was Kate Mara who donned a pastel green ensemble.

Victoria Beckham For Target is not out in stores until April 9, with big crowds expected to try to snap up the designer's affordable pieces.

The 200 plus collection for women's, girls, toddler and baby, ranges in price from $6-$70, with most items under $40 and will be offered in sizes XS-3X for women and NB-XL for girls, toddler and baby.

'It's sophisticated and chic [and] my goal was to create something people would enjoy and remember for years to come,' Victoria told Vogue.com.

The former Spice Girl's elegant collection was inspired by the Victoria, Victoria Beckham line, as well as being a mom and her everyday life with daughter, Harper.

'Harper's been really involved in the design process,' she said.

'I know what fabrics [children] like because I've been dressing them for a long, long time,' she said. 'Take that and apply what I've learned through being a mom.'
