'The spark was gone!': TOWIE's Amber Turner defends cheating on Jamie Reed as she breaks down while being confronted by her jilted ex

She's in the throes of a new romance with Dan Edgar.

But Amber Turner was forced to relive their messy beginnings as she spoke with jilted ex Jamie Reed on Sunday's episode of TOWIE.

The blonde bombshell, 24, was confronted by her ex-boyfriend as he asked for an apology for cheating on him and lying about it.

Refusing to say sorrry, Amber explained why she had lied to then-boyfriend Jamie about staying at Dan's as she snapped: 'Let me speak, it was so fresh I didn't know how I was going to react and I panicked.'

As Jamie asked: 'Is that an apology?' she hit back 'When did we ever speak about the problems in our relationship?

'I can't help it if the sparks gone. I can't help it!'

Fuming: Refusing to say sorrry, Amber explained why she had lied to then-boyfriend Jamie about staying at Dan's as she snapped: 'I didn't know how I was going to react and I panicked'

Fighting talk: As Jamie asked: 'Is that an apology?' she hit back 'When did we ever speak about the problems in our relationship? I can't help it if the sparks gone. I can't help it!'

As Jamie asked how she would feel if the roles were reversed, she continued: 'I've never been through a proper break-up and I don't know how to handle it.'

As she broke down in tears, Amber removed herself from the situation, announcing: 'I'm sorry if I hurt you. Anyway I'm sure I'll see you around.'

Later in the show, she told fellow TOWIE newbie Yazmin Oukhellou: 'I met Jamie earlier and I got a bit upset because its a sad thing.

'I don't want to hate him, I don't want him acting the way he's acting.'

She reasoned: 'I feel better, like a weights been lifted off my shoulders. Life's too short to be moping around and whining.'

Confused: As Jamie asked how she would feel if the roles were reversed, she continued: 'I've never been through a proper break-up and I don't know how to handle it'

Amber arrived on the TOWIE scene as the best friend of Megan, in the midst of a four-year relationship with Jamie.

However despite living with her boyfriend, 34, she was then accused of cheating on him with co-star Dan during a cast trip to Tenerife.

After denying the rumours in a number of tense confrontations with Jamie and her friends, she later admitted to her tryst with Kate Wright's ex, calling her long-term romance to an end.

Amber has admitted to 'seeing' Dan, but insisted that she doesn't want to 'jump back in' to another relationship.
