Speaking further about the five years following his adoption at age 3, he continued: 'I wouldn't change it because it's made me a more understanding and well-rounded person.

'I don't have any hate for her. We may not see eye to eye, but I actually got a lot of love for her,' he continued to reflect on his life following his admission back into care.

Drawing further inspiration from his own positive outlook, Mo - whose debut single Unsteady has already soared to no.3 on iTunes - confessed that he had no time for 'anger' - placing his emotional focus on the people who love him.

Conversation then turned to the events that unfolded during the dramatic finale - including a fan invading the stage and Tom Jones swearing live on TV.

Already showcasing his knack for professionalism, Mo made light of the intruder situation: 'It was all such a blur. Security had him off quicker than he was on. Personally, I don't think he posed a threat.'

The fan, who was waving a placard was swiftly removed by burly security guard seconds after he ran on stage, with host Emma ignoring the chaos on stage.

Even the coaches were confused by the antics unfolding on stage, with Will.i.am tweeting: 'What was that?' and 'That's how you get out of a mistake'.

'At some point, there's going to be a bleeper. I messed up at the start of my last performance anyways. No one is going to be perfect all the time.'

'Especially because she came from a similar background herself on American Idol.'

Drawing on her participation in igniting his music career, Mo continued: 'We've exchanged details and she said to me that if there's anything that I need from her or anything that she can do to help - she's just a message away. I really appreciate that!'
