And 36-year-old Jessica Simpson bared her trim midriff on Instagram this Sunday in a lacy white crop top with robe-like cuffs that draped over her right hand.

Her left hand supported her as she leaned against a doorway, offering the camera her best smoldering stare as her wavy blonde hair tumbled over her shoulders.

The high-waisted white skirt she'd slid into featured lace trim at the asymmetrical hem, which at some points dragged on the floor and at others barely hit the ankle.

She was standing barefoot on a stone tile floor, and a pop of color entered the frame by way of red roses set in a vase on a small table not far away from Jessica.

'Sunday House on the Prairie livin',' captioned the Abilene native, who's been married to her second husband Eric Johnson since 2014 and posted an Instagram photo of the two of them kissing earlier this week.

Covering the September issue of Women's Health last year, she dished that her history with weight helped her when it came to her clothing line.
